Vrabel whining about the officiating in Bills/Pats

He is setting the tone or expectation that every reffing crew should find at least one hold on the Bills or something is wrong - no example or particular situation - just a general, if no hold is called the refs did a poor job.

They let a ton go both ways as far as OL penalties go in pretty much all playoff atmosphere games.  vrabel is either dumb as rocks or knows this and is being disingenuous. Heck the guy was a dlineman playing in playoff games himself 

 

His OL was definitely coached up to grab facemasks/the helmet area and it was not called once.  Very ‘pot meet kettle’ type situation here..  feels like a big part of the bills adjustments were ‘we know we’re gonna get held let’s just hang back in the passing lanes’ and i think that threw maye for a loop

I was listening to Dope and Bullfrog on GR this afternoon and he is pushing a narrative that Vrable is planting seeds for a potential next matchup.  4d chess, you know, because Vrable is such a genius.  Personally, I think Vrable is embarrassed by blowing a 21 point lead in a championship clinching game at home to his biggest rival is and lashing out to blame anyone but himself.  In any case that is a horrible message to send to your team and shows a decided lack of leadership, which is really why they lost in the first place.  I simply do not get the love for Mike Vrable as a head coach and never have.

Vrabel is even dumber than I thought if it’s 4d chess haha the 1 seed is too big to mess around with like that. It’s 100% not that though

Lost a lot of respect for Vrabel with this. The day after a loss he is pointing the finger at the officials instead of at himself and his team for blowing a 21 point lead. And these weren't even particularly controversial calls.

The Bills had 3 bogus holds in game one perhaps that’s why they lead the league. A real soft mental look for this soon to be adorned coach of the year.

Maybe Vrabel might consider the blown call and replay review blown call on the Boute catch,that handed the Pats their first TD. That put our team immediately under stress on the road.Every team has a give and take on holding and DPI calls. The inability to stop 5 straight TD drives and the failure to get a first down on the last drive in a must situation after the Bills went ahead 35-31 should be more frustrating to Mike.

I thought the officiating was a little shaky, like almost all the games this year.  The camera's are catching the refs missing calls in every game.  I see it in games I watch not involving the Bills as well.  Some really bad and not corrected by the closet team of officials. (wherever they are)  The NFL has a problem.

I used to respect Vrabel, mistakenly thinking he was a strong coach who led tough teams. Now that I understand he is a whiny little girl, I will enjoy the Bills beating his candy-@$$ from now on. He is not the man I thought he was.

I’ll be honest… as a head coach, when I see the opposing offense hurrying to the line to the call the next play, am I thinking “they are up to something, but it’s a total mystery.”

Why the challenge flag didn’t come out instantly on Boutte’s catch, I’ll never understand.  The Patriots were sounding the air raid siren that it wasn’t a catch.

Vrabel is playing politics with league officiating. Walking up to the line without actually criticizing. It’s a vet move. He knows they missed penalties on his team; gave them a free catch. It’s the long game for the next Bills-Pats meeting.
