Good lord never want to see that. Read a whole article from a doctor that said mahomes’ injury couldn’t be an acl so I was hoping for the best for him.  Parsons on top of that is just nuts

Another example of why the “get the star” build for a team is a crap shoot. Lot of luck required. The star gets hurt — and you’re left holding the bag.

EDIT: And have many fans talking about how the GM stinks for making that deal, since the guy was “a bust”.

I write the above only because we’ve never seen this before here.

Davante Adams seemed to suffer a pretty significant hamstring injury as well.

And Nacua went out bent double too. Not sure if he was just winded and returned??

Agreed.  Those types of moves can win super bowls but they can also set teams back if that player gets injured

Brutal for Packers and SB chances. Still have a good young core but this a big loss

Yea he was supposed to be the "finisher" in the post season. Obviously much younger prime age player, and much bigger price paid but it reminds me of Von here in 2022.

I thought I saw him get hammered right along the sideline.  It was a big hit.

I am not going to give Beane any credit for this season but this is part of the reason he is hesitant to sell the farm for one player.  The Von signing was out of the ordinary for him and it burned him.   One player does not a team make.

Should have traded those for Myles Garrett. Parsons fan but he’s not dominant at all facets of edge play.

Jerry was indeed right lol

It is usually a good move to trade a non-QB player for multiple premium picks (added value that they got Kenny Clark a good player at a valuable position) in terms of ownership/management looking “savvy”. Largely because injuries derail careers so frequently. Now Jones of course did also make a big overpayment for Sheldon Richardson which took a lot of draft capital outward so give and go there
