Okay, here’s what I remember most about Diggs:

that was bad

and he was always bad to invisible in the playoffs

but the bills couldn't stop a nosebleed this game. there were still 8 minutes on the clock.

aj klein was starting. i have no doubt mahomes would have marched down the field and scored as time expired. but i digress.

Long story short, he became disgruntled and that impacted relationships not just in the locker room but throughout the entire building. The administration staff were happy to see him go. A true good riddance scenario. He went from being a jocular, light-hearted presence to a moody, bitter negative influence throughout the building. It’s a pattern with him.

Helluva receiver and one of the greatest competitors this team has ever had.

Give it some time. It's the Diggs cycle. Right now we're in the honeymoon, "we're like brothers" piggy back rides on the cover of Sports Illustrated phase.

This week he'll catch a 9 yard pass on 3rd and 7 and stand there staring into space all "intense" for 5 seconds.

But soon Diggs will be doing the "almost" sign with his fingers to Maye or signaling "just a bit higher (or lower)" with his hands in a few weeks when he drops a pass in a big moment.

Then after we go into Foxborough and thump them in the divisional round in a game where he was invisible he'll throw a fit and leave the stadium without talking to anyone and Vrabel will have to run out into the snowstorm and talk him out of an Uber and back into the locker room to talk with his team.

But don't worry, everything is great. All are in harmony.

Then he'll not show up for minicamps. Then he will. He'll say he was told to go home. The team will say no he wasn't. He'll make veiled comments on social media.

Next season will start, he'll be invisible for long stretches except for outbursts. Then he'll drop another ball in a big spot and show up Maye acting like it was a bad throw. This will go on all season, and after he disappears in the 2026 playoffs NE will cut him and he'll go sign with another team with a young QB and the cycle will start again.

BTW, this is the difference between Diggs and guys like Higgins and Chase. Those guys seem to catch anything thrown in their general direction.

Freaking Higgins is out there concussed catching passes with 1 hand in a blizzard and holding on as he falls to the ground and hits his head on the turf yet again.

Diggs is a great WR but he also vanishes in the playoffs. Those dudes are uncoverable. Luckily CIN doesn't play defense or special teams.

It was a killer, anything after we’ll never know.

There was supposedly a rift behind the scenes with Diggs and Allen(possibly McDermott as well)

I don't blame Beane one bit for trading Diggs...the problem is completely neglecting replacing him with a legitimate #1 receiver since he's been gone

And not planning for a WR 2 solution either which is why we only have a slot receiver in Shakir. He should have been drafting and molding a guy to play opposite Diggs and instead they just thrust Gabe Davis into that role who was ill prepared for that role. He was great as a #3 option on the outside. Beane has been absymal on the WR role since Emmanuel Sanders 1 year role which again they should have been preparing for a proper WR 2 which wasn't just a random 1 year rental.

He is my least favorite player that’s ever donned a Bills uniform. A major reason we are having WR issues to this day. It would’ve been nice having Diggs age out gracefully while developing his replacement. The Bills had to scramble to find someone and they ended up w/ Keon Coleman.

He's up there for me as well.   Mainly because he is a complete fake and liar.  The emotional immaturity is just the cherry on top.   The only reason it wont turn bad in New England is because he's too old.

There are many here more learned than me.   I’ll start and let them build or tear down.

He is an a**hole who came up small in big moments.

Not only your description which is accurate but he takes about a season or two to alienate teammates and the coaching staff. When he doesn’t get targets or the team starts losing,he mopes around and starts pointing fingers. He’s a me guy and after cancerizing the locker room, teams look to dump his contract. He’s the grizzled veteran leader right now in NE but my prediction he’ll be gone year after next.

My sources told me Diggs wanted to spread his seed before he got too old, and if he was to impregnate 3 or 4 ladies in Buffalo, he’d have to show up for birthdays and other holidays in cold weather. So he actively pursued a trade to a warmer climate and, thereafter, started his family.

This sounds like AI but you know what I buy it

The close friendship/ relationship between Allen and Diggs soured IMO.

He was a problem child behind the scenes and management had gotten beyond sick of his antics. But that's not the main reason he was traded. The main reason is he committed the cardinal sin of becoming too much of a problem for Allen to deal with and that marked the end of his time in Buffalo.

S. Diggs was a great addition to the Bills ---did a lot to help Josh Allen. He was a 5th round draft choice who just played lights out now for 3 teams. I am a Bills fan first---did not end well but let us not diminish what a big plus addition he was to the BILLS and Josh

Diggs’s friendships with everyone in the building soured as well.

Stef’s issues off the field in no way diminish his contributions on the field. As I said previously, he is one of the greatest sheer competitors we’ve ever had.
