Just drop it to the 5 already.  Teams have all year to plan for the draft and near 2 months to gauge interest in trades once the draft position is finalized.

No, the BenGals use T Mobile, so their  internet connection is risky🤣

….and when the Bills pick, we break for commercials in a very special and longstanding tradition.

Since they will be picking 32nd, maybe they won’t go to commercials.

The length of the draft wont change. They will just sell more commercials.

What is the common theme thru everything? Money.

If we are drafting 32 (because we earned the honor), I don’t care if they don’t mention the Bills all day. :)

It’ll change-they’re doing it because they’re losing viewers for the later picks,

I miss the days when the draft started at 11 am on a weekday.

I used to come down with a mysterious illness on those days and have to stay home from school.

Remember: Bart Starr was taken in the 17th round.

Shaving two minutes off each team should reduce the length of round one by 64 minutes, putting it at around 10:40 after pick 32.

Love it. Now if we could just get a stream or an option to skip through the sob stories, heart felt pieces, and everybody’s trials and tribulations, I’ll be even happier

Agree, but keep in mind that everything the NFL does is about generating the greatest volume of revenue possible. The league must've realized that interest was falling off for most viewers as the first round stretched into hour 4. So, they clip a couple of minutes. But taking it down to five minutes may put too much of a dent in advertising revenue for television partners ESPN and the NFL Network. It's all about the Benjamins.

They could shorten it to eitght seconds and McDermott would still get his corner, no prob.

Short, undersized, and labeled as 'a project'.

CB: "Thanks for drafting me, Coach!  I was voted most tenacious in the conference!"

McD: "That's nice, son.  Now back up 5 - 7 yards."
