Is there a physical therapist in here that can tell me if Ed Oliver is supposed to be using such limited range of motion for rehab? Or does his pushup form actually just suck?

Im just assuming that you don’t want to extend the arm fully with tension just yet.

 

But not only that, that is also a type of push up.  It works the hell out of your chest because it stays flexed.  You just don’t want to only do that because it will limit your range of motion.  In prison, they call it bouncing.

I think front of delts is heavily involved here as well, which could be intentional for rebuilding muscles surrounding where the tear occurred (without putting too much strain on actual repaired area)?
