I think a lot of us are right there with you. It also feels like the team might be as well.

Maybe it's a side effect of being so good for so long. It feels like it doesn't truly matter until the playoffs.

Of course that's not true or ideal but I could see it.

What is the deal with Palmer.? This season is a total waste for him. Like to see Gabe and Cooks just take those rolls over for good and let’s move forward. Love to see Cooks go 6 for 110 or something and let’s reset the mindset of this WR group

Injured .. he was coming on with big plays vs ATL.. hasn’t been healthy since. It’s a loss but hope he can rebound for stretch run.Can just one wr gain some momentum today ??

Howie Long just said Burrow is the biggest threat in the playoffs out of all the afc quarterbacks...

He does have Chase and Higgins, either would be a #1 on our team.

What?  This week the bengals stuff has gotten completely out of control.

If the Bengals win, no matter how, it will be “THE BENGALS ARE BACK!!”

If the Bills win, no matter how, it’ll be “The Bills beat a bad 4-9 Bengals team, so what?”

I’ve seen this movie before.

Were there practice squad call ups?

Yeah, Spector is fortunately out of call-ups after this game.  Also the new DE Fox, as we are kinda shorthanded on pass rushers.

Looks like Spector as well?

Bengals D isn't great but imo they basically gave up while Burrow was hurt until it became apparent that he was about to come back. Rumor is that Hendrickson is holding himself out even though he could play.

That's inexcusable.

There's major issues on the team. IMO Taylor is totally overrated and there should be a full house cleaning there in the off-season.

I'm pretty sure vandermark is playing right tackle.  Sounds like grable is the swing tackle today.

I would hope so

Burrow plays the position like Brady and Manning. He reads the defense at an elite level. He runs their offense at a high level and throws with accuracy. So, every analyst knows how to evaluate him. On the other hand,  he never makes plays that make your jaw drop. It's Chase and Higgins that do that. In fact, the main difference between the Bengals with Burrow and the Bengals with Flacco is that Burrow won't throw the back-breaking pick that turns the game. He will take sacks, though.

Babich pregame interview..

it’s about fundamentals this week.  Burrow is a challenge, limited film for this year, he is among the elite of the elites.

he gets the ball out quick so get your hands up, burrow doesn’t want to get hit.  One big hit on a qb can impact the game.

underrated part of their offense is they have two backs that run hard, brown runs extremely hard and can really effect the game.  Perine is a good player.

he corrected brown on calling turnovers takes aways.  He has done this repeatedly with Chris brown in pregame interviews yet brown keeps calling them turnovers.

we always talk about takeaways and we hope to get a couple today.

Turnovers vs takeaways... I like that

A turnover is when a punt catcher has a punt bounce off his chest and you're there to fall on it

A takeaway is an INT or ripping the ball out for a fumble

It's because of turnover is a broad term which includes turnover on Downs

A takeaway , which is Sean McDermott's MO, involves actively game planning to knock the ball out, strip it away.. jump a passing Lane...it's the mindset to  Force the opponent into giving the ball up without unforced errors
