However, any team that claims him would be on the hook for his contract as written. I don't think anyone's going to take on that contract. So he'll likely go unclaimed. However, after publicly dealing with and inactivated a player for missing meetings - bringing in a WR released for missing meetings would take some not caring about the optics or not caring about why he was released. I would do it. But I'm not sure this regime would. Edited 50 minutes ago by BillsFanForever19 Quote

Feels familiar but he's also gave big contracts to several guys that no longer in team. Gave up three 1sts for a bust of a QB. 1 Quote
Kelly to Allen Posted 46 minutes ago Posted 46 minutes ago It could help, but there's systemic issues on this team and more importantly with the hc that are not on a championship level Quote

Brandon Aiyuk was a top 10 WR fairly recently. If he's gotten back to being mostly healthy (doesn't sound like he is... but I also wonder if there's just general friction over there) then I absolutely think you kick the tires on him. Stylistically he's very much a Josh Allen type WR. Quote

Had an all-pro season in 2023, tore up his knee in 2024, and then the 49ers were immediately shopping him on the trade market this past offseason. Pretty easy to see why he’d be pissed at them. Quote

Bills Fan in MD Posted 41 minutes ago Posted 41 minutes ago Did he miss meetings because he's an idiot like Keon, or because he's pissed about something and trying to force his way out? If the latter I say kick the tires. Quote

Not even a contender with extra cash? 9 mil cap hit this year, largely already paid out. 15 mill next year and then could be reworked in 2028 or take 21 in dead $$$ I suppose the injury issue and the negative reports likely make this not worth it. HappyDays Posted 28 minutes ago Posted 28 minutes ago I think I'm good on just stringing this season out and making changes in the offseason. In retrospect I'm glad they didn't give up that 1st for Waddle. Hopefully Allen protects himself the rest of the year and we'll enter a new chapter in 2026. Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted 20 minutes ago Posted 20 minutes ago We would probably sign him and then McDermott will healthy scratch him for 2 months in favor of a 3rd string LB that can play STs. Sal “guys Aiyuk is down again today but here’s the thing. With Terrel Bernard hurt the coaching staff might feel like Baylon Spector gives them more incase you have an injury to Shaq Thompson. If Buffalo Joe has to go in then you need another guy to go out there and get holding penalties on punt returns. Also if 9 offensive lineman go down he can step in as an emergency center” 1 Quote
