They’re the best defense in the league. Def kicked out butts, but there will be better days. Yeah, but the problem with the good days is they're always followed by more bad days... especially the season-ending kind. 1 Quote

TFBillsfan Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Zero sacks tonight by the Bills. Zero compared to 8 by Houston. Outside of Davis’s TD return, ST were horrible. Offense scored 12 points! Brady is a second year OC and it shows! We attempted ONE deep shot the entire game. The long hand off to Cook on 4th and 1 was just idiotic and indefensible! Even worse it looked like he didn’t have a play as Josh was waving frantically for the call. Why in the world, he REFUSES to use Josh in these situations, is just stunning, playaction, bootleg rollout puts so much pressure on the D. Hell, run a dang QB sweep! Brady has been so horrendous multiple times in 4th down situations. The Bills literally pissed away games against ATL, NE and Houston! 1 1 Quote

That game doesn't have me thinking "if only we could have thrown some incompletions to Keon we would have been fine." That's fine, but I wasn't talking about Davis vs Keon. I said he would have helped more than Elijah Moore did, and I don't see how anyone can argue otherwise Quote

You can not let them march right down the field after a kick return td and let them score and take all the momentum and the lead. Its a gut punch. so what? It's football. Suck it up. two quarters - the two most important quarters in any game - the defense dominated Quote

Roundybout Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago 1 minute ago, CincyBillsFan said: I disagree. Houston had a bad offense and Mills is a back up QB. The Bills D was gashed in the first half badly. Giving up a 75 yard TD drive at the end of the half after the Davis KO TD return was an abomination. I am sick and tired of McD defenses playing like hot crap in the first half only to play "better" after their poor play has basically lost the game. See Atlanta. The Bill's offense has won two close shoot out games this season. We have yet to win one defensive game where we hold a team to 10 - 13 points. Tonight the D should have held the Texans to no more then 13 points and that includes FG's after the 2 TO's. And the D not forcing a single TO when Mills was hitting our guys in the back of the helmet with terribly under thrown passes is an indictment of their play. Lets not forget that the D controls field position to some extent and the Bills started 3 drives from inside the 10 yard line. I mean I don't disagree, but at the end of the day, the defense made stops AGAIN to give the offense the chance to win the game. Quote

I’ve seen him routinely get holds and 5 yard penalties. I’ll trust my eye. Spencer is a top 5 RT player though with obvious injury but also had a bad night. Perhaps our OC would have focused a quick throws and rb swing passes to help.. Quote

zow2 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I was disappointed that in his quest to hunt for big plays Josh ran himself into 5 sacks. The greats dont do that stuff, there are outlet passes, short stuff to be had if he would just take it. 1 Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Wonder what is up with Josh's hand. There is some kind of injury on his throwing hand, did not seem to affect things but something to keep an eye on. Quote

Combined that with the turnovers, and I think your anger is misguided. 2 Quote
