It's almost unfathomable how their offense can be as bad as it is so regularly with studs all across the skill positions and a great OLine.

That OC needs to be fired ASAP.

People talk about Brady having issues? Watching Philly play offense is like watching paint dry most games.

The oline has been banged up and there has been discussion about hurts not being the guy for a couple years now. I got into a pretty lengthy discussion with some people at an event this past summer where I cautioned then about getting rid of hurts without having a solution in place first. While he's not great you can do a lot worse.

They look and play tired.  Someone is gonna snipe them come playoff time.

Now put yourself in the position of an eagles fan looking at Buffalo who has often looked sloppy, soft and disinterested this year. What do you think they say?

I would take that SB trophy and their brick wall defense who made the Detroit Lions look like a poor mans New Orleans Saints last weekend.

That team would be a threat to go undefeated each year if Allen was the QB.

The coaching is bad in Philly. Especially on offense. It's pretty clear now - give Hurts a good OC - Steichen or Moore and he looks good. Without them he looks meh. Sirianni doesn't move the needle at all.

That Superbowl win was Howie, Vic and Kellen. I do wonder if there is a point at which Howie just says "let's make Vic Head Coach"?

Easy...  If only they could stop the run.

I’ve gotta hand it to you. I can honestly say that I’ve never discussed Eagles football one time (either lengthy or briefly) at an event with anyone. 😉

I’m not sure what the point of that would be.

imo, it’s no guarantee that Vic gets another HC opportunity. He’s kind of in that Spags zone.

If it looks like he is gonna get poached, you can pull that lever then. But there’s no guarantee that Vic is as successful as de facto DC and HC.

Sirianni is kind of a perfect figurehead for now. The next good OC should not be let out of the building.

The fact that I think Sirianni is a net negative and if you move on don't hire Vic he might walk as DC....

I expect Vic to get a look this offseason for HC gigs

He may get a look...but I think he takes himself out of the running for a lot of teams.

IIRC, he's from the Philadelphia area. He wanted to go back to be closer to family. He's getting up there in age and is at a point where spending time with family can supercede coaching aspirations. It wouldn't shock me if he has a very small list of teams he would even consider coaching for.

When you live outside Philadelphia for 30 years it's pretty much inevitable.

Wow.  What would Josh Allen do with Aj Brown, Devonta Smith and Johan Dotson. They have Saquam freaking Barkley and can’t consistently pass the ball with those weapons.

Hurts is a terrible QB, he's a very poor mans Lamar Jackson, their offenses seem very similar, however it seems the OC seems to call the perfect plays at the right times, its uncanny.

Hurts has been handed a different system, a different voice, and a different philosophical framework nearly every season dating back to his Alabama days. Under those conditions, instability is the norm. He adapts by defaulting to the parts of his game he trusts.

I also think the 2025 Eagles OC is a bit of a dud.  Patullo is predictable with a billion hitch routes and hates the deep pass on a team with WRs who excel at running deep routes and getting open.

It's because Jalen hurts is very overrated as a paser

He was able to consistently play good down the stretch last year and get the ball to his top guys.. but that's never been his game

If the league has caught up they really might be struggling offensively because hurts is not a top five or even top seven quarterback.. he's a great athlete not the best passer
