JMM Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I loved Matt when he had the physical ability. A true underdog who just had tremendous football sense, anticipation and feel. Unfortunately he has lost that physical ability and now simply cannot make the plays he used to on guile. I know this is his last year, and I'm sure he could still make a splash play here and there. But he should no longer be starting. Whether that means Dorian or some other combination I don't know. But he's clearly a liability at times now as a starter. I just can't believe the coaching staff doesn't see that as well. Is our LB core THAT poor in their minds that they still believe he is the best option as a starter?? 2 1 Quote

BuffaloBillyG Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I have a LOT of respect for Milano. Guy has been a damn warrior for years here. Always could come up with a big hit or turnover when we needed it. And he was out best kept secret. No one outside WNY really knew how good the guy was until later in his career. He's provided a lot of outstanding snaps for this team. But, time and injuries have come to pass. While he will remain in my personal Top 10 favorite Bills of all time, he just doesn't have it anymore. He could possibly serve a role as depth, but his time being an amazing player is over. I thank him for his time here. But it's time for him to go. 1 5 Quote

Not sure what was behind that decision. Tired of RB's gashing us with runs to the house. 1 Quote
CirclnWagons Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Would’ve loved to see his career without all of the reoccurring injuries and respect what he has played through in his time in Buffalo but yea hes heading the wrong direction and paired with an undersized Bernard, it really shows in the run game. Dude has been a stud for the bills and could still be a rotational guy maybe grabbing a few snaps to get other some rest but it just ain’t there anymore 1 Quote
uticaclub Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Despite the extensive discussion about our needs at WR, DB, and DL during the trade deadline, the gaps at LB often go overlooked. 1 3 Quote
Generic_Bills_Fan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Can’t really sit him when Shaq is hurt…we have seen this before with Milano I have to say where he is absolutely terrible after returning from injury then turns it on late. Seems like he is very taped up and it looks like he’s probably got some kind of harness on too. if Shaq was healthy milano would definitely be sitting right now because I don’t think he’s quite healed up in the first place. zow2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Shaq is older, and you want him ready for January. I wouldn't rush him back 5 Quote

Not sure they thought he way physically ready to play 2 games in 5 days. I fully expect him back on Thursday. 2 Quote

LB will either be one of our top 2 selections or we will be taking 2 in the middle rounds. I’m sorry but the smallish LBs have to go they don’t need to be 240-250 but 230-240 would be nice. We are also going to have to start looking for Taron Johnson’s replacement because he is falling off a cliff too. I think this is why they were tied to Carson Schwesinger so much leading up to the draft and everyone was like why??? It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if we have another very heavy defensive draft again. I do expect a WR though at some point in the first 3 rounds. Edited 1 hour ago by gonzo1105 Quote
Donuts and Doritos Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Shaq to the Bernard's spot, Bernard to Milano's spot, Dorian to rush in and stop the run. Then you could bench Milano. (Run a 3-4 D like they did in the second half yesterday). When I suggested this to Bills customer service they laughed at me. So doubt it happens. 1 Quote

DabillsDaBillsDaBills Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Honestly Bernard should be benched as well. Hopefully he's dealing with an injury that's making him play as poorly as he is. 1 1 Quote

If they were ever all healthy this might become an issue but there are wrinkles with everyone. Bernard seems slower with an ankle injury he's had all year but i thought he had a nice game against TB, milano has a partial pec tear and seems to be tackling without his arms, Thompsons is a soft tissue hamstring injury that tends to reoccur if you don't rest (and playing a full slate snap count would probably lead to a higher likelihood of that, and Williams is a liability in pass coverage. I'd expect us to need all 4 come January, so how that splits up during the season isn't really as important imo. 2 minutes ago, DabillsDaBillsDaBills said: Honestly Bernard should be benched as well. Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I am a little surprised that the Bills haven’t made some more moves at linebacker. That is a position where you can easily find some solid thumpers just off others’ practice squads. we view shaq as some savior. He is just a mid-tier ordinary linebacker. I would guess there are a bunch of comparable guys floating around to snag. Quote
Aussie Joe Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago So far , this season has been a sad way for Milano to go out in Buffalo… he was a great player before that terrible injury in London .. hoping he can still find something …. 1 Quote
HOUSE Posted 58 minutes ago Posted 58 minutes ago What we need is a big fat physical MLB. But in McD's defense you have to cover in the passing game When McD is fired he can take all this lightweight LBs with him. 4 1 Quote

Need some big thumpers to hit some guys. Quote

Disagree, we need better DT play/philosophy. 220-230 pound LBers is the norm in today's NFL. Brandon Spikes-type would be a huge liability in today's NFL, you'd have a 10 man defense every pass play. 1 Quote
