In all seriousness… has Samuel played in 2 consecutive games even once since he came here?   
 

Coleman may suck.  But at least he’s on the field pretending to play.  Samuel… I just don’t get it.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if this is an easy game.  Texans have a good defense and their offensive woes may work their way out vs our defense.  Short week and away games is a bad combo. 

 

Defense has to get stops.  On offense, hope they mix it up as much as possible to keep their edge guys from causing too many problems.  Keep passing to RBs.  Need a zero to low turnover game as well.

I just remember he changed his list after the uproar and took someone else off, either Dak Prescott or Jalen Hurts or both. I think he added Joe Burrow too but I don't remember clearly what happened other than deciding that in his infinite wisdom, that Prescott and Hurts deserved to be on the list but Josh didn't.

I would also like to see Josh be decisive RUNNING the ball this game if the passing game struggles against this stout Houston defense.

 

Last year, despite his woes passing (9/30 for 131 yards) he had some success running the ball (4 rushes for 54 yards). One of the things that Dabol used to be really good about was noticing when Josh was not in rhythm passing at the beginning of a game and calling some QB runs to get him in a groove. Brady has not been nearly as good about this. And I think this may be a game where some judicial runs from Josh can help get the offense going.

 

Note also that Nix, Ward, Lawrence, and Mayfield have all rushed for 30 or more yards against this Houston defense so far this season -- and none of them are in Josh's league as a ball carrier. Heck, even the immobile Mac Jones averaged 11.5 yards per carry against them.

I'm not ready to give up on him yet.  Maybe missing a game will be a motivator.

Bills are 2-1 when giving up 200 rushing yards or more this year.

 

The rest of the league is 1-16 when they do that.
