Outside of the drop in the end zone where the ball was on him like a bullet, Gabe provided key pick ups for us, especially on the 4th Down slant.

It's clear he has rapport and trust from Josh and opened things up in the passing game more than what we've been seeing of late.

We're not going to carry 8 WR's on the roster. Samuel needs to stick so we can pick up his cap relief as a release next off-season. Shavers is important on Special Teams and came up big today. Releasing Coleman (which I'm sure people will call for) a year and a half after spending a 2nd on him wouldn't be wise. You're likely to get something (even if it isn't much) for him in the Off-season. And with Davis and Palmer on the field, you might want to try him inside and see how that goes.

That leaves the other WR that was inactive today. And I don't think there's any question that Gabe is a better option than what we've been getting out of Elijah Moore. Teams are in rough shape all over the league at WR. Maybe you wait and see if someone tries to poach him first and make the move then. But he should be on the field every game going forward.

We should release Hardman and sign Gabe.

Either that (injury settlement?) or IR for Hardman.

Between Gabe & Shavers, there's no need to activate Coleman.

Completely forgot about him. I think that depends on how bad his "calf injury" is and who's going to handle returns if he's not here.

That was a terrible decision he made. No doubt about that. But he was providing good returns for us before that and we didn't use him at all on Offense (that I can recall). I think it's a tough ask to come in off the couch and suit up in less than a week.

I think i'd give him some time. We haven't really seen him on Offense yet. I'm not ready to walk away from him that quickly.

He had a long ball go off his fingertips. He was in for a few plays.

I thought they pulled Hardman after his idiotic non fair catch.  I didn't realize he was hurt. Just got back from the game.

Actually, come to think of it, he had two of them today.  I'm referring specifically to the second one.

Hardman has a calf so I think Hardman to ir , Gabe signed

Shakir or or Codrington on the ps call up

Typical calf can be 2-4 weeks for Hardman

Yup I see that happening. Gabe will be signed to the 53, Hardeman will either go to IR or get an injury settlement.

Why not just release Coleman? He has no place on an NFL field.

Too early. But he's like the number 5-6 wr right now.

Thanks, I missed that play.

If Hardman is legitimately injured, then it's an easy pathway. But with what he's shown in the past, I'm not ready to say one bad game coming off the couch and on to the field in 5 days and you're out of here. I'd take my chances with him over Moore who provides nothing.

You've made a big investment into him and, yes, he's floundered it horribly. But he's a year and a half into his career. With Palmer and Davis on the Outside, it's worth a shot to see if he can bring something moved inside.

And at least, there's a chance you get something out of him after this year in a trade (even if it isn't much). Teams take chances on "change of scenery" moves all the time. Especially so fresh into their career. We got something for Kaiir Elam and he was much further into his career as a Bust than Keon.

As bad as Coleman's been, he doesn't give us less than Elijah Moore does.

I would still try to hang onto him for the rest of the year.  There may be another team that liked him before the draft that's still willing to give up a late pick for him.

After how Shavers looked today he earned more opportunities. Coleman should remain inactive for the foreseeable future.

Gabe should be brought up. He looked healthy today and productive. Feels like there may be a team or two that may come sniffing around to force their hand.
