GreggTX Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Assuming that he doesn't show real signs of maturity and production, should he be trade bait? Quote
PetermansRedemption Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Yes, try to get a 5th, take a 7th. If not, cut. 1 Quote
Heavy Kevi Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Honestly I don't even care what we get for him. Being on the field is a liability. He's a WR that can't get open so he's rarely a good target for Josh Add to that the forced back shoulder play calls that are a wasted down basically every time. It equates to a wasted position on the field as well as whole wasted plays when they call the back shoulder. And work ethic/character issues? C-ya bud! 1 Quote
Ya Digg? Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago These polls always seem to come up when a players value is at its worst. Why the need to get rid of someone when their value is the lowest? 1 Quote

Nephilim17 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I'd be surprised if Beane (assuming he's still here) does that as it would be an admission of a really failed pick. Beane likes to control his image. 3 1 Quote
Maynard Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Yeah, who would want him? Immature and flat out sucks. 1 Quote
mannc Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We could maybe get a 5th rounder for him…look what Indy got for Mitchell… 1 Quote

Usually im a no on these with young high picks, especially after 2 seasons... if he wasn't being an idiot id be interested in giving him a training camp to compete for backup/spell reps in the slot. Its crazy we got this far in without giving that a real shake. But hes an idiot, not maturing, not playing hard. Maybe something will click but I dont think him losing his job today is going to serve to motivate him, or bring anything productive. I could see him going somewhere else and having very mild success splitting reps in slot, and people will complain it was too early to move on... normally they'd be right, but if he wasn't already, hes going to fully shut down on this team feeling "wronged" L-O-L Also, it doesn't sound like he was late. On broadcast it sounds like he missed it entirely. Could've been poorly worded on broadcast though 17 minutes ago, Heavy Kevi said: Honestly I don't even care what we get for him. Governor Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago He obviously can’t be traded. Haha. What team would want that? Quote
yall Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If an old leather shoe on a hook can be considered "bait" then yes. Quote

L Ron Burgundy Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The only thing you can do is trade him to a team for their draft pick fail. That's really all you can do. THAT might work. Quote
CirclnWagons Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago What would you ask for him? Maybe some wore out gym equipment and discount airline vouchers? I personally wouldnt let him go for less than a new blender for the smoothie bar Quote
Special K Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Certainly an indictment on Coleman that Shavers looks more promising than him out there today. 1 Quote
