Reading on the internet torn PCL and MCL.   Great, now 3 guys(Hoecht, Carter and now Jackson) on next years DL we will have to baby to start next year.

Well, Kingsley Jonathan will probably be called up.  Maybe Casey Toohill.

Think this should seal it for Jackson this year.  Hopefully he shows something in his redshirt rookie year next season.

from what i was hearing...he might not even get back until game 5 of next year.    also he's had multiple mcl tears in the past.

something i hadnt heard before and is now..wtf ?

So I’m wondering if he wasn’t quite 100% this year and why he wasn’t looking so good on very limited reps.

I swear  it looks like Mathis dove into his legs late for no reason and then a dolphins player got thrown on to his knee after.

 

I feel for Jackson.

Has the length of the injury or severity been confirmed? Full tear or partial (sprain)?

i dont know, it would make sense but then we was pretty raw coming in.   

im just a lil surprised drafting someone had the same injury multiple times and

its one u dont quicky recover from.

He's had multiple ACL tears, one in HS and one in college.

We are down to Groot, Solomon, Ogunjobi and Carter from our 11 man strong defensive line group coming into the year who are still fully healthy. 

 

Oliver, Hoecht, Jackson, Carter all on IR done for the year;

 

Sanders on IR return tbc;

 

Bosa wearing a club on his hand and Jones heavy strapping on a hammy.

Landon Jackson had a history of knee and ankle injuries in college, including a left ACL tear as a freshman at LSU that required surgery and cut his season short. While at Arkansas, he battled a preseason ankle injury in 2022 but did not miss significant time, and there were no publicly reported injuries in 2023. pretty sure it was joe buscaglia that just said multiple.   

 

sounds like this could be his right knee this time where both before were is left knee.  not sure thats good or bad

You don't need to sign Toohill. You just rummage around in the dumpster of the secondary equipment room and you can fish him out of a bunch of broken shoulder pads, deflated footballs and discarded tape.

First Carter should be Walker and you ommited AJE but yeah this really sucks.

 

We had a chance to have best DL in years. Oh well. The room for injuries is absolutely none now.

 

We need to be lucky with Bosa come playoff time. Hopefully Sanders gets back at some point.
