I know that the Bills were active and that’s what I ask of them. Don’t be too arrogant to think that you’re good enough in a spot where you clearly suck. They made the calls and tried to make deals. It takes 2 to tango and you have to be smart. I’m not going to hold this deadline against Beane. Now, it may blow up in his face if they fall short of the Super Bowl but he did try.

Profoundly disappointed. I truly think the hubris of this regime is going to doom this team to the fate of the ringless San Diego Chargers and for Josh Allen to be nothing more than another Phillip Rivers. I hope Im wrong.

Lots of activity today and some major moves. Of the Bills competition the Colts got better but gave up a ton for Sauce. Other than that, it feels like the NFC teams really improved more.

I’m on record as thinking that the Bills had to add a boundary WR. The Shaheed comp felt doable but probably had to pay a higher price than Seattle based on where the picks will be. Otherwise, it doesn’t seem like a deal was there to be had.

I am really surprised that the Pats did nothing as well as the Chiefs. The teams that are out of it did not have much to offer it seems like. They still have to field  somewhat competitive teams for the remainder of the season

Bean is way too conservative, IMO. Guess he can't learn from the teams that are not that have that won it all. Even in hockey, with the Panthers making the Marchand trade to win another cup. Pretty disappointed we couldn't even get some depth players to cover the injuries a DL.

Jets do something smart, for a change.

Moral: There are some teams you simply don’t do business with. Period. I hope Beane at least learned this lesson (I honestly think he did and we never see another trade with KC during Allen’s tenure).

To me our priority of a WR need shifted once Oliver and Hoecht were declared out for the season. Plus I think Beane sees Gabe Davis as the additional ball catching help we need. I am ok with that. I am very surprised we didnt get some kind of help on the defensive line though.

Honestly not bringing in any reinforcements is inexcusable for the receiver room

The bills offense is an injury to shakir or Kincaid of being utterly in competent as we saw last season when shakir went down for a couple games and this season with Kincaid

Both good players but both are not the level where they determine an offense

The bills desperately needed depth and more insurance before Tyrell shavers is your top target

I am still on K.J. Hamler watch.

the fact that the chiefs added no one and neither did the patriots was a win.

In some aspect sure but I’d rather be focused on any improvement our team is making than those that were or were not made of a team who has been the standard in the AFC and another who is on a massive rise in its infancy and a division rival to boot.

We’ll be fine but it’s a letdown nonetheless.

I'm sure he was on the phone, but I respect Beane not making a crazy offer for somebody when you’ve got a team as closely knit as the

A 4th and 5th for Shaheed was not a "crazy offer." It was less than the reported asking price of a 3rd. Quite simply Beane and this coaching staff decided they are good with this offense. Palmer returning from injury and Davis getting elevated at some point is their plan at WR. They have to be right. Another year where the offense has a chance to get it done at the end of a playoff game and can't deliver would be devastating.

I'll be on a lonely island here, glad we didnt make a trade.  Guys not signed for next year: Bosa, AJE, Daquan, Ogunjobi, Milano, Thompson.   Guys a lot of people want replaced: Rapp, Tre.  Hoecht might not be ready to start the year.  We're over the cap in 2026 as of right now, so what's your plan for next year if you give away picks?   Beane's job is to look at this team long term not just this year.  There are still a lot of holes to fill next off season.

I don't think it's hubris.  Had the Bills been able to stay healthy...particularly on defense...fewer folks would be complaining.  As to our offense.  Our two losses were a result of Brady not using Cook.  Hopefully the balance we saw offensively on Sunday carries forward.  Having said that, I do believe that Beane genuinely tried to acquire a top-notch player.  Unfortunately, the main seller was in our division and in the other rumors we heard about , the players weren't ultimately available.

I'll say it again. I supported the Diggs trade. I still do. But the fact that Beane,  either through draft, off season signings, or trades, has not addressed the overwhelming need for a true boundary receiver is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE.  If people on here think we are going to be to get to and win the SB with that wr room, they are simply being Pollyanna. Terribly disappointed we are wasting a HOF all time QBs prime career.

I’m disappointed, but Beane didn’t have much cap to work with.

I was hoping he’d swing for the fences, but after reviewing the cap ramifications of going all in, I realize, sadly, that Beane didn’t have the cap room to get done what we needed done.

I think Beane & Co were hoping Hoecht and Ogunjobi were the shot in the arm the D needed.
