People really think we are trading for Chris Olave? lol

I mean I can’t say I know the future but I’m not sure what’s so surprising about that haha the guy has a modest remaining contract and he’s a good player on a 1-8 team that’s a free agent after next year anyway.  Wouldn’t be the craziest thing in the world if the saints decided they weren’t gonna extend him and wanted to maximize trade value

I think playing more games in that offense with a rookie qb is just gonna tank his value

Just to saying..yesterday’s win kinda changes things. The Bills’ Super Bowl window has been flung wide open.   I say put all the chips in the table, trade whatever picks you need to… but get playmakers in that will put them over the top.

Get the right players.. and it’s a legacy, career defining move if they make the Super Bowl.    Do we really need a #32 pick next year?

It’s not good to mortgage the future.. but in this instance… go for it all!

Agree.

The future is now. Make two trades to help the O and D.

Jerry Jones said a trade would be announced tomorrow. Lamb to the Bills confirmed.

We're getting Elam back!!!!  Beane/McD reclamation project coming full circle.

Also buffalo is looking for used footballs from the 1990's.  Apparently they need 23 to send back to Dallas to complete the trade.

It's possible that we could actually free up the Cap space to do it this year considering his Cap hit for 2025 is $6.1m and we've played half the season, so I believe the Bills would only have to take on about $3m in CAP.

Where are you seeing his Cap hit is less than $1m?

You’re only on the hook for what’s remaining of the base salary as the new team, the total cap hit includes bonuses paid out already. Assuming my understanding is correct 😂. The contract stuff is a little funky

Screw all the freaking picks.....  Go get Olave, Waddle, and BTJ and swing for the fences this year!  Whatever happens, happens. We lose our whole draft, so what!  Figure out who to sign and who to part with after the season.  HA!!!!

But seriously.....If any of these 3 are available, I think you have to do what it takes to get at least one of them here.  It is so hard to find big time WRs in the draft because it is such a crap shoot. Get one and then try and find another WR1 or WR2 in the draft next year and fix the position.  This is a chance, if these guys are available, to get a proven stud, start the rebuild of the position early, and help the team this year and beyond.

This is the year to swing for the fences.  No one in the AFC is dominate as Indy just found out and we need long term help at WR.  Obviously the Bills made cap space available for a reason.

Sure it is...there are a number of good players with under a 750K remaining cap hit this year the Bills could get.

That’s basically what they did with cooper last year. Cleveland had already paid him everything he was due so he was super cheap
