Most people consider KC to have the better overall roster and Andy Reid a HOF coach, so if our coaches didn't perform well how did we win? Not to mention how many starters missing on defense? Seems like some damn good coaching to me... 2 2 Quote

Hopefully LJ can step up and actually play for us....if not, Beane needs to bring someone formidable in. Bishop had an amazing game. Dogged him all year for good reasons and he just played his best game of his career. We still need a WR. Prater absolutely needs to make that last kick. the 4th and 17 is inexcusable....mcD special right there. Big win for us. I'm happy. Go Bills! I think it will be Landon to get the shot... At the end of the day, if we get to the SB it will greatly depend on how Beane's rookie class holds up on D... They just can't hurt us and they have to hold their own... So far it's been OK with Walker and now Max and Hancock... But now with Oliver and Hoecht out, looks like we're really going to need to see something from Jackson and Sanders by at least Week 13 and that last 6 game stretch... Quote

The Bills did a masterful job of keeping him contained. The thing i was most worried about for this game is what he did last week, scramble forward and find the wide open receiver as the play breaks down. The thing that was so great is that we didn't have guys just take 2 steps then stop to 'contain' - but generated a rush which both got him scrambling and kept him contained Quote

Cus he took a beating today from the Bills defense, but kept getting up. Those were probably some of the hardest hits he's taken in his career today. Mahomes getting hammered all game is not his fault. His WRs can't get any SEPERATION. Edited yesterday at 02:12 AM by ColoradoBills 11 Quote

I mean at the point the Bills almost have to trade for a Defensive lineman . They’ll get Jones back and hopefully Sanders ups his game off IR I think they are going to lean on Jackson. I feel like they were redshirting him because they could and now they can't... I think they are mainly worried about his grasp on the D overall. Once that kid knows what he's doing, he's not going to hurt them at least... I'm not saying he'll be TJ Watt... But he can play... He's just mistake prone right now. He ran the wrong play (dropped into zone right next to the LB) vs NE when he had contain and that was the big long sideline pass to Diggs... He's just as fast as Maye...If he's where he should be that's probably a sack...Those things are killer mistakes... Quote

It basically comes down to guys putting on their playoff pants, stepping up and making plays. Unfortunately, the guys making the plays have been on the other side. I absolutely agree but today , I have to admit, Bishop looks like he rose to the occasion. Max too. I have been crapping all over the talent acquisition but today maybe, just maybe, we started to turn a corner in our Defensive backfield. Every postseason, Josh looks like the only one who it isn’t too big for. It would be nice to see a few more guys step up. Especially on D 2 1 Quote

dollars 2 donuts Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM Posted yesterday at 02:12 AM (edited) I love beating the Chiefs and I did predict a Chiefs win, but indicated in other forums we could win if we did certain things, which they did. It is great, but honestly it tastes like so much ash. in less than one week we’ve lost two great players for the season. Necessary players, from a mediocre defense that can’t afford it. How do I know they can’t afford it? Because for four straight years we’ve suffered catastrophic injuries to our defense by way of multiple All-Pros, Pro Bowlers and core players having their seasons ended that have been at the very root of our playoff futility.
