Baffling it hasnt happened already.  Im hoping they keep him on till the end of season so that we have a chance if Brady takes a HC job in college or pros!

 

I like getting a guy who was a good coordinator, and failed as a HC.  I think that experience cant do anything but make them a better coordinator, even when it didnt work out.

Felt like they bottomed out for awhile and then had a ton of resources for a full rebuild mcdaniel’s first season.  He was bad obviously but I can kinda see how he hung around.  Probably got the ‘tua injury excuse’ for a year or two and then when tua was healthy and they were still regressing badly Grier got the axe

Kind of hope they don't make a move on McDaniels this week. That team is a mess and I don't want them getting that little extra interim head coach boost before they plus us next week.

Has a gm ever been fired midseason without firing the coach? This feels weird to me but it might not be lol

GM's that hang around longer than they should often do so by a combination of throwing a HC or two under the bus and getting lucky with a winning season here or there. He started in 2016 with a winning season and then brought in Flores who are one tank year had a winning season back to back before McDaniels was brought in and had two playoff appearances. It was a lot of smoke and mirrors mixed with just the right amount of success.

As much as I think Brady is meh he’s kinda one of the biggest HC prospects by default haha. The guys available seem really underwhelming. He’s underwhelming too but probably could argue he’s the least underwhelming lol

He's tanned, rested and ready...and has experience now with defense: Nathaniel Hackett.
