Kansas City.... Who/What do you despise the most about playing them?

  1. 1. It's our seemingly yearly meeting with a non-divisional opponent and the "hate" grows every year.  Who/what do you despise most about that team?  For me, it's Travis Kelce.  He is a complete douche and I really, really, really hope he does not break the KC touchdown record against us.

I voted 'other' because I didn't see one that said 'Kermit & Kelce'.

Kermit is a weasel rectum and Kelce is a demon douche.  I hope they both get chlamydia of the face to go with legendary diarrhea.  Finish them!

I was once at a nicer restaurant in Cabo San Lucas awaiting patiently for an open table, when we got bumped by the long snapper of the Chiefs acouple months after they beat the 49ers in the SB. We were next in line, but I guess the owner thought that being an NFL player would mean he would be dropping a couple G's that night. So he risked us walking out, which we did, rather than the NFL player.

Hated him ever since. F that guy.

Not that I doubt your story, but how would you know it was the long snapper of the Chiefs…not to mention the owner of the restaurant knowing him?

For me it is their longevity!

Only Joe Burrow/Cincy has represented the AFC in the Super Bowl in the 2020's as opposed to KC.

The last non Mahomes AFC quarterback to win is NE Tom Brady, the 2018 season!

AFC active Super Bowl winning quarterbacks, Mahomes and 40 year old Joe Flacco!

KC winning the AFCCG this year will just continue the pain felt across the AFC.

Preferably they don't make that far this year but if they do the Buffalo Bills win and then win it all in Santa Clara this February.

I think what compounds the issue is we had a front row seat to the Patriots dynasty for so long. We watched it hoping one day we would find our franchise guy and be "the team". Only to see the Chiefs rise just as the Pats fall.

Taylor swift.

why? She’s a money maker. The nfl realizes this. This in turn fuels the refs to give them more favorable calls.

she’s the true head of the snake over the last 2-3 years

It never ceases to amaze me how a 110 pound pop star can own so much real estate inside so many grown men heads.

I questioned hatred toward the Patriots during their dominance over the Buffalo, too.

A lot of people confuse hatred with jealousy.

I never hated the Patriots during that time. I hated the Bills for fielding such an inept team year after year. Heck even the Jets and Dolphins would pick up a win against em here and there.

refereeing is biased towards Kansas City. You saw it in the afc championship game. You saw it against Detroit when NO PENALTIES were called against them. Now you add in the fact that her presence has made the nfl a billion dollars over the last 2 years while she’s dating the hall of fame tight end of this team. You do the math.

I think, for me, it's mostly the fans who punch down at the Bills/Bills fans. Like, as a Chiefs fan, you're getting to experience a dynasty — something that very very very few sports fans ever get to experience. The Bills have caused you absolutely zero pain. Like, just don't s*** on us and be happier people.

Well not to be a Debbie Downer, but this place is filled with Bills fans who punch down other fan bases, and it's certainly not unique to our forum.

Now that's just mean and untrue. Try Q39's burnt ends and you would humbly take back those words! They are like butter and mix perfectly with their mac & cheese.

Oh, I've had Q39.  It's one of KC's best restaurants for sure.

Still, it doesn't compare to the brisket and beef rib at Goldee's outside of Fort Worth.

Considering they had a player cause a multi car accident and just walked away.  Then his mom gets caught stealing Amazon packages.

The Coaches son who was arrested for pointing a gun at a driver in a road rage, ran a drug emporium and drove drunk…injuring two children and one is handicapped the rest of her life.

Then while Tyreek was there, multiple legal issues including domestic violence and child abuse.

Kareem Hunt beats up a woman.

Frank Clark arrested on an assault case.

Justin Cox arrested for burglary.

Isiah Buggs arrested for domestic violence and pet neglect.

Not to mention, they get the calls.  There was a stat I heard that in the playoffs, the Chiefs somehow get called penalties something like 3x less than their opponents.  It was something like 36 penalties for the Chiefs with 12 against.

Some of this isn’t true and a few of those guys never played a snap for the Chiefs.

I hate to break it to you, but this stuff isn’t uncommon among NFL players. For example, Von Miller assaulted a pregnant girl and Maxwell Hairston was accused of assault.

I just despise the fact that they are the direct reason we at least don't have 1 SB win right now, that 13 seconds was right up there with some of the worst debacles in NFL history.

But it’s ok, because the team and coaches learned from that.

I actually don't mind the Chiefs.

It's nothing like New England, for some reason.  It might be because I'm older, but I truly despised NE and the run they were on.

I'm indifferent with KC.

Shouldn’t you hate the NFL instead if this is true? She didn’t ask for any of this attention from the networks and the NFL.

Exactly. I see comments making fun of the Dolphins and Jets all the time. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s part of being a sports fan. Some people are way to sensitive about this stuffs.

I think if you asked Bills fans who've attended a game in KC...the fans that actually go to the stadium on game day....are gracious and will offer you to come eat at their tailgate and have some beer and BBQ.  All fan bases have turds....and you can find a good number of our turds at Chiefs planet.  Not good.

For me, it has become Pacheko,

I just don’t like watching the Guy run.

He is the least instinctual football player I've ever seen.  4.3 speed...ZERO vision.  Runs right into the back of the oline 4/5 times.  Can't see holes or blocking develop.  Uses up more energy to get 2 yards than I've ever seen.  High effort, low production.  For someone as fast as he is...he never breaks one.

I hate that big stupid looking wolf or whatever the ef he is, that's always in the endzone...I do like when he bangs his head on the goalpost whenever the opposing team scores, however.

...he's not super popular in KC.  No one hates him, but he looks like an obese rat.  WAY back in the AFL days there was a fan section known as the "wolfpack" which is where this thing comes from.  Only nerdy die hards even know that...and the folks that actually were part of the wolf pack are pushing up daisys.  Wouldn't mind a new mascot or none at all.

Their BBQ is overrated in comparison to places like Texas.

I am from KC and have lived in the DFW area now for 9 years.  KC BBQ is far superior....except the brisket.  Texas brisket is good...but nothing else here is better than KC....and the sides here suck.  No one here seems to grasp the concept that you can add meat bits and sauce to beans....the beans here are AWFUL.

George Brett

best 3rd baseman ever.

Also....check out this stat line.

25 Games, 178 Receptions for 2078 Yards and 20 TDs.  That's Travis Kelce's playoff stats.  If you take the averages and break it down to what the comes to in a 17 game season you get 121 catches, 1413 Yards and 14 TDs.

The guy puts up ALL PRO, Hall of Fame numbers when it matters most.  His playoff stats are off the charts over a 25 game LARGE sample size.  I'd hate him too if he wasn't on my team.

Don’t like them purely for the fact we lose to them in the playoffs.

Hate? Eh. It’s a sport, I’m not wasting my time getting caught up on negativity because we’ve fallen short to the better team on a few occasions.

Theyre akin to the Patriots. A team that’s winning more often than not. Only way to change that is do and be better when it matters.
