does anyone know the likelihood of Oliver being back for the playoffs? WC round perhaps??

 Very close to 0% unfortunately.

Awful news! Thats the deal with TJ Sanders? When does he come back? I would seriously consider christian Wilkens right now.

I wouldn't expect T.J. Sanders coming back anytime soon. He has Knee Surgery like 2-3 weeks ago. While nothing reconstructive, he still had to go under the knife on his knee.

He was IR'ed with Damar Hamlin. When it happened, all that was said is that he liked Sanders chances of "possibly" returning at some point more than Hamlin's. But he was also deemed out Indefinitely at that time, like Oliver.

I think with him, people heard that and assumed it was a Short Term IR incorrectly. 4 weeks and back. I don't think that's the case. I think McDermott was saying just that Hamlin is definitely done for the year and Sanders *may* be back at some point. But didn't rule out he doesn't.

I wouldn't expect him back until the end of the season, if at all. He talks of the recovery of injured players like Jones and how they hope they'll have him back soon. He isn't saying that about Sanders.

Hugely disappointing!

Hated the pick when it was made. Oliver has never lived up to his draft status but he's been a solid starter. Can't even blame this injury or the ankle on being too small. Just bad luck.

Not sure what his cap hit is, but unless Sanders looks like a ProBowl player when he returns, Oliver will probably be back next year.

Anyone interested in Calais Campbell? He'd have to agree to a trade (no sure thing), but he's still productive: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CampCa99.htm. AZ's season is probably over given that division and I can see them being sellers.

He'd bring some juice on the pass rush, plus he'd be great in the locker room cuz he could tell the young bucks lots of stories about what life was like back in the 20th century.

So David Chao is full of BS?

Yesterday said decent chance of return in playoffs if he had surgery within 48 hours.

There has to be a chance or McD would have said he’s done.

My guess is outside chance late January.   That’s 3 months.

He just said "chance." That means he isn't 100% done for the year as evidenced that McD didn't say that either.

This is beside the point, and pedantic, but it always bothers me when people use the term "bicep." "Biceps" is always plural. "Biceps brachii" is the medical term for the muscle in the upper arm.

You could look it up.

It's a completely natural and understandable mistake, but once you know it you know it.

This is probably not a popular opinion, but I think the Bills roster has a lot of JAGs, with one elite player (Josh) and some good players (e.g. Ed, James) elevating our play.

It sucks when a JAG gets hurt but it's disastrous when it happens to one of our few good or great players.

I mean he had three sacks and three games and when he's on he's very disruptive he's better than a Jag

His lone full healthy season where he wasn't really dinged up he had nine and a half sacks.. so he's good just always nicked up even if he's playing hurt

Now he has a serious injury

It hurt worse than I thought to read this.

I'd rate Cook above being merely "good" but yeah.

I think with the advancement in sports med it could be closer to the WC than people realize. 8-9 weeks.

The work they're doing with soft tissue injuries is amazing.
