I would trade them a 1st, anyone of pur Wrs, except Shakir and a day 3 pick. Trade them the 1st and Curtis Samuel. If they want something else, maybe an 5th rounder and if not the extra pick then either Milano or Taron. I’d honestly like to hold on to Shakir, Coleman and Palmer. 2 Quote
zow2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The buzz I heard on Brian Thomas (don't know if it's true?)....is that he's pretty lazy in practice, or has poor practice habits. Again, don't know if that's true or not? But if a guy is balling out in games, that practice stuff is just noise. If he's not performing in games the practice stuff matters more and irks the coaches and GM. Quote

I'd be surprised if they got a 1st let alone a 1st plus a bunch of extras...Jags clearly don't think he is a good fit for their scheme and he has been not great. Urban Achievers Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Samuel , a first or 2 seconds, and add a late rounder for good measure. Handshake. Then Beane should apologize to WGR for being a royal D. 1 Quote

You don't pay for what they did, you pay for what they are doing now. I understand what you’re getting at but there are other factors other than a players current performance You pay what the seller wants in return. If they think the price is 2 1sts, that’s the price. You certainly don’t have to pay it. A GM can choose what each particular player is worth to their team… it doesn’t really have to be based on how they are playing at the moment. Play can change (for better or for worse) in new surroundings. when we traded for cooper last season, he was playing the worst ball of his career and really shouldn’t have been worth a 3rd. But he was for us. Quote

You don't pay for what they did, you pay for what they are doing now. Nothing is free of risk. Cons - Currently has the dropsies, underperforming, alligator arming passes. Appears to be a disconnect between him and new regime. Pros - young, cheap, elite talent that translated to the next level. Elite speed/size/hands combo, that could make the Bills offense potentially scary, or near unstoppable. There have been tons of WRs, including some with yellow jackets, that hated going across the middle, and weren't good at it. For this reason, many of them weren't asked to, at least not on a regular basis. How often did we see Randy Moss going across the middle? I currently think they are severely miss using this guy, and bringing out the worst in him. Value will be somewhere between how he's currently performing, and what he has shown in the past. From there you try and figure out the why, and that leads you more to one side or the other. These tall slender guys are not built to run them through traffic. What makes them special on the outside, is what hurts them going across the middle. That's why I believe that Jamar Chase is better than Justin Jefferson. The guy has elite speed, but is also built like a truck, and bounces off of guys in the middle of the field. Quote

His usage from the slot has consistently increased year over year whereas Jefferson's has decreased, standing now at only about 15%. It should be noted though that he isn't quite Randy Moss either imo. About 50% of his targets are between the numbers at intermediate depth and he is said to be a pretty fearless guy. I think BTJ should maybe be used like Jefferson, as a boundary receiver with very limited slot presence - we've already got a very good slot receiver. And I suspect that BTJ would be fine being targeted in the middle of the field at intermediate depth and beyond. He was able to do that last year. Just don't expect him to be J. Chase or Beckham Jr. He is not that guy. I would roll the dice and offer a first out of sheer desperation. Quote
