Went south of Charlotte but will head up that way for the Big Game Headed to Charlotte tomorrow. Touching down around 12:30. The wave of Bills blue should be in full swing by Saturday. 2 1 Quote

I kind of forgot about that seasons slump. Kind of parallels this season so far in some ways. Home prime time game loss to the Pats*** 4-2 going into the bye in week 7 after a rough loss. Played the NFC south and also played the panthers out of the bye (and smoked them so hopefully that sticks too) Also though wasn't it actually the Pats*** who were leading the division for a while? Thought that was during the miraculous Mac Jones 7 winning streak. In any case here's to hoping it plays out in a similar way with the Bills pulling ahead of the Pats*** in the division with a late season win in Foxboro. 1 Quote

The entire vibe of this game is going to be completely different, so long as the entire team doesn’t pop their calves in warmups. For as beautiful and impressive as that stadium was, i don't think i understood a single word that came over the PA. 1 Quote

We can all lower our superbowl expectations and enjoy a season with lowered standards 2. the bills will see their flaws and what they need to improve before the trade deadline and offseason 3. They will be 4-3 going into the chiefs game and play with a sense of urgency like never before I mean with all the amazing success this franchise has had over its history, why WOULDN’T step #1 be foremost in anyone’s mind?!?!? Plus, Josh Allen is still in his 20’s! PLENTY of seasons left. Quote

I do think the D will figure things out as they infuse some new guys into the mix. I don't think they will be the consistent pushovers they have been. I also believe the Bills O line is too good to be this mediocre. They've downright struggled for chunks of games. The receivers are what they are, and injuries aren't helping. At least get open on the short routes and make themselves available. Josh sounds like he's going to get back to hyping up the guys and at least trying to have fun. I think he gets into his own head a bit when things go wrong...he gets upset with himself more than anything. Mahomes admitted to his frustrations last season and said this season he simplified things and is playing fast. Allen needs to do the same, the ball needs to come out of his hand faster or he needs to take off and run sooner. 2 Quote
mannc Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago As bad as things have looked recently, this is the type of game the Bills have consistently won, and won big, under McDermott…I think that will continue on Sunday. 3 Quote

I'm starting to understand the utter inability to move past that game against KC on the part of some, usually folks that can't stop referencing it. It's this fantasy that if we'd won, we were absolutely, undeniably, 100% going to the SB. Because we were going to stomp out the 2021 Cincinnati Bengals in the AFCG. THEN, we were going to beat Tom "I'm 33-3 Lifetime vs. Buffalo and have 6 Rings" Brady in the Big Dance. Dear Lord. 1 1 Quote

Do you think losing to the Bengals at home in the AFCCG would have been more hurtful than 13 seconds? I think it might have been. I honestly don't think that we would have beaten the Bengals. Quote
colin Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago our d has been getting a lot of pressure, missing a ton of tackles, and honestly play the run realllllly aggressively. it's either a stuff or they rip off long runs, nothing in between. if our roid heroes can be all we hope, that should reflect in the rushing D, and pressure rate (or actual sacks, as our pressure rate has been strong). on the flip side, i'd like to see josh have a vintage alex smith type of game where he completes all of his passes ot backs and tes, with like 3 to WRs sprinkled in.
