When multiple opposing players state after a game that they knew exactly what was coming, that’s a problem with the OC.

When an opposing coach admits he was shocked at the lack of protection given our QB, that’s a problem with the OC.

When an older WR comes off an ACL and has a phenomenal year and we couldn’t or wouldn’t get him involved while he was healthy, thats a problem with the OC.

There’s a pattern here.

Seems like he has an issue getting any receiver involved.

Yes.  It’s his job to put his players in a position to make plays.  He has to be able to scheme something up.  I’ve seen Davis Mills shred us.  I saw Skylar Thompson almost ruin our playoff chances.  I have seen a handful of god awful QBs walk up and down the field on us but our defending MVP QB can’t complete a pass to a WR.  I don’t care if the WRs aren’t great, a good OC should be able to get someone open

We are starting a dude that got released at Thanksgiving, a dude Jacksonville is paying to not play there any more, and a dude not good enough to make an NFL roster the last 3 years.

These dudes SUCK. Knox sucks.

The only good players on offense are Cook and Josh and Josh can’t be great every week throwing to the worst receivers in the league.

We have the WORST RECEIVERS IN THE LEAGUE.

The Titans WR1 and WR2 would both be WR1 here. The TITANS

This is 100% right. This is the worst receiving corps in the NFL. And the crazy thing us unless Coleman developed it was always going to be. Kincaid might have stopped them being the 32nd best combined group of pass catchers, but they were still bottom 4 even taking tight ends into account.

All of this is predictable. We were all saying it pre season.

EDIT:

When we signed Josh Palmer I said it was the "bare minimum" we needed to do at receiver. When we signed Elijah Moore I said I liked it as a punt, didn't like we needed to take a punt post draft.

Josh knows it too.

he is playing shittier because he knows everyone around him is AWFUL and he has to press. there is no easy button when we call a pass play.

Yet you have an extremely solid offensive line and one of the best RBs in the league.

You can’t have everything.  And the strengths of having a #1 running game should create opportunities in the passing game which Brady never is able to capitalize on.

Are you telling me that if we fired Brady tomorrow and brought in Andy Reid, Sean McVay or Ben Johnson we would still have no downfield passing game?  I would disagree.  I think a competent offensive mind would do a much better job masking the deficiencies of our WRs

Its a lot of things, but I cant deny Josh is not reading the field like he was last year and is turning the ball over way to much.  Both him and Lamar are not having good stretches.

That offensive line is hurt this week. And haven’t been that great all year.

we have a very good running back and every single one of you B word AND MOAN when we give him the ball 20 times instead of throwing it all over the yard.

Is Brady perfect? No. No OC is perfect.

But the 1st 2nd and 3rd problem with this offense is that the cast of characters around Josh are EMBARASSING.

The issue isn't Cook getting the ball, it's that he gets it in the same predictable fashion on a weekly basis. There's no variety with how he gets it.

He is averaging 5.4 YPC on the year and is second in the NFL in rushing.

Sounds like an overstated issue to me.

Brady is a problem. The WR are a problem.

As much as everybody wants to blame anyone and everyone but Josh, he's as big a problem as anyone. He's not playing well at all. Not seeing the field, not handling pressure, not accurate, turning the ball over, it's bad. Just look at the pocket awareness. Last year he was the best in the league at pressure to sack rate. This year he's worst. His head isn't in it for some reason.

We cant win when Josh is on the problem list. He needs to get it together or the season is going nowhere.

It's not a Cook production issue, it's a Brady is terrible at setting the offense up in advantages positions issue.
