DeepPass Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Jordan is only 34 years of age and NOT injured at all. Let's get him on the field to join the old-timers reunion with Tre White, Baylon Spector, Matt Milano and Jordan Phillips. They all know the "system" even if they can't run or tackle well anymore. What a mess!! 1 1 5 2 2 Quote
BuffaloButt Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Glad this was written with the intent of sarcasm or BM would have roasted you for this suggestion! It's frustrating that the Bills won't inject some fast, youthful players. Only old reliable Betsy is allowed with this defense even though they give up way too much cushion every game! Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) ... okay? Posts like this always crack me up. Like someone creating a thread out of a random temper tantrum outburst that's here one second and gone the next. Leaving me looking around like "what just happened?" Anyways - Damar Hamlin played a grand total of 12 snaps on Defense over the span of 5 games. Quite possible that they just elevate Cam Lewis and Jordan Hancock from the 4th and 5th Safeties to the 3rd and 4th Safeties. After all, they were the Safeties on the 53 keeping Jordan Poyer on the Practice Squad. But even if Poyer was brought up and takes the place of Damar Hamlin, as long as Rapp and Bishop stay healthy - Poyer won't be seeing the field any more than Hamlin did. Which is like, not at all. Also, I thought the majority of posters decided that Hamlin was awful and not deserving of a roster spot? Jordan Poyer is somehow worse than that? Governor Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Way too early. We’ll be needing him for the playoff run. 1 Quote
Chandler#81 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago He was washed up his last season here before getting cut. Then the Dophins -yes DOLPHINS cut him! What more need be said? Sean is ruining his DB Whisperer cred. 1 1 Quote

Ray Stonada Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago This post cracked me tha Eff up. Seriously though, I wish we would play the young guys who still have speed and quickness, let them develop. They can learn the mental game, the old vets can't learn being twitchy again. Quote
MikePJ76 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Hancock can just take hamilns role. defensive tackle is where the roster issue is right now and corner is where the talent issue is. Quote
transient Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago FWIW, at 26 Baylon Spector isn’t old and washed up, he just plays like it 1 1 Quote
frostbitmic Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Will they fill Poyer's spot on the practice squad with Micah Hyde after the call up. 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I think I'm at the point where I'd rather see Poyer on the field than Rapp. 2 Quote
dorquemada Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Hopefully Poyer can muster fresh legs for tonight. I wonder about his conditioning while he's been off, it's hard for aging athletes to adjust to their new reality when systems start failing. Quote

To paraphrase, maybe he ain't as good as he once was. But can he be as good once as he ever was? That said, I don't think he sees many snaps tonight unless there's an injury. 1 Quote
Bill from NYC Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We should bring back Donte Whitner. This time we could grab him without using the #8 pick. 1 1 Quote
Allen2Moulds Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I vote for a foot race beyween Poyer and Rapp. Loser wins the starting job. Quote

Part of the issue this year has been the secondary running around like a Chinese fire drill right before the snap resulting in 4 guys out of position 1 Quote
BananaB Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If he plays it doesn’t matter, everybody is already running open against this D. 2 Quote

So many plays that year either Poyer or Hyde were barking stuff to him and he would get the defense lined up right. The experience that a guy like Poyer brings is invaluable. 2 Quote
