Schedule remaining:

Bears, Dolphins, Vikings, Jets, Patriots, Steelersx2, Browns, Packers, Bengalsx2.

They would need to win 9/11 of those games (10-7) to get a shot at a WC spot. It's not happening. They are done. The hole is too deep.

How I think it will shake out:

1: KC

2: Indy

3. Pittsburgh

4: Buffalo

5. Chargers

6. Patriots

7. Broncos

WC round: Indy over Broncos; Patriots over Steelers; Bills over Chargers

Division Round: KC over NE and Indy over Bills

AFC title game: Chiefs over Indy

Why are you talking about a WC spot when the division is their clear path to getting in? 9-8 can easily win it depending on how their AFCN games go. They haven't played the Bengals or Steelers yet, so they have the opportunity to make up ground.

They are in too big of a hole. They have too many issues to expect them to only lose three games imo. And Pittsburgh will slip. Just not enough to cough up the division.

Pittsburgh will win the division by default. Not because they are great.

They probably have to go 5-0 over this next stretch of Bears, Dolphins, Vikings, Browns, Jets, get to 6-5 and then a conversation can be had as they play the Bengals twice, Steelers twice, Packers and Pats.

That Bengals win over the Steelers kept them alive, because it looks like the AFCN is their only hope, but subsequently made two gimme wins against the Bengals look like potentially tough games.

So that's 1-6. They can maybe afford 1 more loss the entire rest of the season... Yeah I'd say they're done. Famous last words of course.

Bears are missing a ton of guys I believe. And other then Lamar the Ravens are fully healthy. Don't think the Bears are a sure thing at all. But yea if they lose (and especially if the Steelers win) they will have almost no margin for error.

Season was done for them 2 weeks ago. The Trevor Lawrence bumbling and falling TD run to ice the game closed their season. Their current team needs to be dismantled. Yes, they will go 1-6.

- Harbaugh is obviously done. He gone.

- Derrick Henry washed up and waived.

- The entire defense has to be gutted. A lot of guys are gone. Pro Bowlers don't matter. They're gone, too. Gotta get younger.

- Lamar Jackson stays. He's not going anywhere.

- New tight ends.

Hypothetical

Would you swap Harbaugh and McDermott?

Could McDermott get that team on track? Could Harbaugh?

I see a win/win. Harbaugh has discipline but not like Mcdermott. McDermott could round out some of the bottom of that roster to trim the fat that is likely there and get a process starting. Harbaugh here could light a fire under our ass because he's a new breath. Granted, he comes from a trash family and his brother is trailer park and ran from cheating in a subpar college to hide in the NFL and is finding success because he's always a mediocre guy because he's probably cheating there too... But this Harbaugh from Baltimore would likely have a little more success than McDermott but McDermott would have more success there.

They can maybe win with Snoop because he's not Cooper Rush.  I thought he practiced in full on Friday.  Odd.

Considering harbaugh has had rosters loaded with pro bowlers and all pros and underachieves.. nothing tells me he could come to our roster of no names and do anything with them

The Athletic rest of season predictor says Ravens win the North at 8-9 and host 11-6 Buffalo in the Wild Card round.  That would be the worst case scenario.  Pats win the East at 12-5.

Believe it or not Ravens still have a 55% chance of making the playoffs.

Barring something crazy,  playoffs look like

Indy, Buffalo, Denver, Pitt, SD, KC and NE.

A ton of football still left to be played though!

The Ravens and Steelers haven't even played yet. The Ravens have only beaten the Steelers twice in a season once during the Lamar Jackson era, and that was his 2019 MVP season. Somehow, the Steelers find a way to beat the Ravens at least once a season even when they have Kenny Pickett and the Ravens have a healthy Lamar.

Steelers are trash

They were trash last year too, and still beat a healthy Baltimore team 18-16 in Pittsburgh. AFC North division games are a different animal. Even the Browns in their lowest years pull off upsets.

If the bills can sneak by kc this weekend it’s gonna change a lot optics wise I think.  Pats are stuck with one more afc loss right now and two more if they were to lose the rematch with Buffalo. They’ve still got a tough afc game against Baltimore on the schedule (maybe Buffalo too lol we’ll see where we’re at by then) and the bills would have one tough nfc game against Philly left and a few decent afc teams

The ravens win was huge I’d feel a lot more uncomfortable if we had another afc loss right now

It’s all about winning that division. Cinci are right on the heels of Pittsburgh and Baltimore only one game behind them.

Steelers have, this week included, a tough 3 game stretch for them: Packers/Colts/Chargers

Going into week 11 they could very well be 4-5.

Ravens next games are Miami this Thursday and then the Vikings who are struggling. 4-5 for them is very possible.  They also face Pittsburgh two more times… if they are the division leader losing both is a serious dent against either teams chances.

That puts Cinci… they could go into the bye-week tied with Pittsburgh & Baltimore if both end up 4-5 and they win against Chicago. After their bye they face Pittsburgh.

That division isn’t playing great football but looks like it could be one crazy finish to watch who comes out on top.

I’m not betting against Baltimore. If they lost to Chicago yesterday, maybe.

Replace Pitt with Baltimore but otherwise agree.
