TFBillsfan Posted Wednesday at 12:34 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:34 PM (edited) Yes it’s still VERY early in the season and Baltimore is sitting at 1-3 with a ridiculous amount of injuries including Lamar who “may” miss 2-3 games. They have Houston who’s 1-3 as well this week fighting for survival and the Rams the following week. They seriously could be looking at missing the playoffs if they were to lose these next two games. That would forecast them around 9-8 or 10-7 barring a hot streak. Things could quickly unravel. With Indy, Jax, Pitt, Chargers, KC and Denver, they could seriously miss the playoffs! BillsFan130 Posted Wednesday at 12:40 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:40 PM I hear you, but Their schedule really softens up after the next 2 games. Even if they go 1-5 to start, 10-7 will still get them in the playoffs which I think they will ultimately do 6 Quote
SoTier Posted Wednesday at 12:42 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:42 PM I think that the Ravens can beat Houston even if Lamar doesn't play if they run the damn ball. The Texans' defense is pretty good but their offense really sucks. I can't see the Ravens beating the Rams with their defense as it is now, which is mostly injured. 2-4 doesn't look good for the Ravens. 1-5 seems like a death sentence for the Ravens in the playoffs. Even before all the injuries, they were still 1-2 in their first 3 games, and their defense had given up 96 points. IOW, they weren't playing like a team that could go on a 9-2 run. Plus they still have to play the Browns again and the Steelers twice plus the Vikings and Packers. There's also no guarantee that 10-7 will qualify for the playoffs, especially with tie-breakers. 1 1 Quote

I would be shocked if they don't go at least 5-1 in those games you mentioned. Now injuries is the wild card here. If all their guys are out for 6 weeks, then I would agree. But i believe all of them will be back outside of Madubuike after the bye. They are still going to be a force and a tough out IMO Quote

SageAgainstTheMachine Posted Wednesday at 01:18 PM Posted Wednesday at 01:18 PM I'd still put even money on them to win that division. 1 Quote

They need to figure out how to run on a stingy defense that knows its coming. Rush isn't a bad backup with a week of prep - his teams are 9-5 when he starts. He takes care of the ball, and doesn't take a lot of sacks. 1 Quote

BillsPride12 Posted Wednesday at 02:17 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:17 PM I still think it's too early to say there's a strong chance they miss the playoffs but it is starting to look possible. The only problem is I don't trust any of the other teams in that division either. Quote

Low Positive Posted Wednesday at 02:24 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:24 PM With Joe Burrow's injury, that division went from the toughest in the NFL to one of the weakest. But now both the Ravens and Bengals seem broken. Both teams seem to have quit on games that they were still in. I'm not saying that Lamar is not hurt, but they quit before he went out. That's hard to come back from. Here's Zac Taylor and Ja'Marr Chase. Looks like Diggs and McDermott at the end. 1 Quote
