The good ones are usually around 35 solo for the year, roughly 2 per game. Deone Walker has 6 solo, Daquan has 4. I don’t know Sanders snap count, but I think he’s been on the field as much as those two and is producing far less.

He is a rookie in a DT rotation so he isnt going to get a lot of solo tackles in his first 4 games.  Picking on that one stat is a bit ridiculous imo.

My take is we’re gonna lose next week. With the current standings, our opponents to date have a combined 3-15 record. Our thrilling opening night comeback vs B’more turns out to be just like the last 3 games. Very flawed teams who woulda/coulda/shoulda won! Ravens are now 1-3 on merit and now Lamar is hobbled. The Pats* are 2-2 and just had a dominating victory over Carolina. Drake Maye is more polished than Josh was in his sophomore season. “HIM” had a TD & over 100 yrds receiving. They already know they’re the only team in the Division who can rival the Bills and we’re not even in October! They annihilated the Panthers as a tune up for Buffalo while showing the League they are legit! They know the chump change we’ve escaped tell the story WE also know. That we have an all-timer at QB, an impressive RB and 51 Jimmy’s and Joe’s who are easily fooled and allow their opponents to gouge them all day, choosing only to defend the deep third. They know we suck at tackling and playing Man in coverage and only Bosa is a threat to disrupt the pass. Yesterday showed more about how bad the Aints are than the perceived good the Bills are.
Go ahead Sean. Sit good players who CAN go -if needed, again. If Allen was bummed the last time the stadium emptied out in the 4th quarter, he’s in for a shock next week. It’s likely gonna look like the Covid year -imo.

According to sports reference, "HIM" i assume Diggs, has not had a touchdown at all this year.

Read the Reid Ferguson is thr problem thread if you want another special one to waste time.

Or the thread where they are conducting a head coaching search for a 4-0 team because they are not 4-0 enough.

The Patriots are gonna fight hard to win this. Bills can't go to sleep, and the defense really needs to step up. Brady really needs to call some better plays Imo. I can't be the only one that hates this short passing game. Yes, I know we can't just throw down field all game, but how bout having Josh roll out a bit? Or maybe running some stuff like the kinkaid td yesterday

Expect a steady stream of rushes and ball control offense for BOTH teams.

Vrabel has always preferred this approach.

I hope we don't defer if we win the toss.  Best way to set the tone in this game is a long scoring drive to start it off & make them play catch-up.

NE is better everywhere. They should be 3-1 but blew the Steelers game with 5 turnovers, two of which were inside the Pittsburgh 3 yard line. Outgained them 400 to 200 and lost 21-14.

The defense has been getting after the QB with Barmore, Milton Williams, and Landry, and the Pats' top corner Gonzalez is back after missing the first 3 games. The offense is playing good football for the first time in years. OL is solid so far with 4 new faces. The run game hasn't been great but better the past 2 weeks.  Weapons are better all the way around, not great but effective. Diggs has been making plays and being a solid citizen. Love what Hollins brings. But the main thing is Maye and Josh McDaniels got it going. Maye is very comparable to Justin Herbert, and extremely similar playing style.

The Patriots look about ready for a game of this magnitude.

Always defer.

And actually an even BETTER  way to set the tone is to kick to them, force a punt and then drive down and score.

I think a lot of people here lose track of the big picture.  I was reminded of this in another thread when someone said the Saints game was on of 17 and they all count the same.  They may count the same but not all game are of the same importance.

The New England game >> than the Saints game.  The coaches know it and probably planned accordingly.  You don't risk a healthy Ed  or Spencer for NE to get the lower level win against the Saints.   Winning the New England game gives the Bills a massive lead in the Division.  Increases the odds tremendously that the Bills will not only be in the playoffs but hosting a playoff game.

I expect a different level of focus for the New England game, much like the Jets game.

I agree. Whether by hook or crook, if we win next week we’re in great position. But NE* knows this too and are the only threat in the Divison for this season. They’re very likely to bring their A game. Can we? Have we?

It's good, but I've gotta have more 4-0!

I would be more worried if this was a 1  o'clock game.  The Bills don't wilt on prime time.  I think it will be a game but the Bills and Josh play best under the big lights.

Bills;   5-0

New England is 2-2.  They had 4 fumbles and 1 INT against the Steelers and lost by 7 points.

Easily could be 3-1 if they only turned it over 3 times instead of 5.

That lost to the Steelers may be the difference as to which team makes a Wildcard.

Maye is young and still learning and their D is not bad at all.

This game is not a "fall off the couch" win for the Bills.

The Bills WILL take this game very seriously and that will be the only way they end up with a win.
