Lol Mac Jones did look good year 1, then the wheels fell off fast. I think the Pats are back on the right track I THINK they have the 2nd best QB in the East and potential franchise QB in Maye and a good competent coach in Vrabel that has them moving in the right direction. I mean they had 5 turnovers against the Steelers and still had the ability to win that game! Last few years we are losing by 30.

 

what do I expect Sunday night. IF they keep from turning the ball over I see a great game that Allen seals late in the 4th with a TD making the final score 31-21 or 34-24.. a god game but the better team pulls it out easily at the end.. my Pats are probably a yr or two away from challenging you guys for the division.

You were on the Mac Jones bandwagon pretty bad. I still recall you saying Belichick wanted Jones over Josh.

I still stand by that! My proof he made Judge and Patricia co offensive  coordinators for year 2 of Jones. I never meant to imply Jones >Allen just that BB would take Jones over him.. hell we took a crappy RT over Lamar Jackson!! His drafting wasn’t exactly elite the last like 8 years 😂

1. McDremott/Babich/Bills Mafia/Everyone gets mad after a subpar defensive performance
2. They hold a hard practice to kick their butts into gear.
3. Dudes get hurt in hard practice.

In most cases the QB makes the OC not the other way around. 

He got a head coaching job as Mac Jones as his QB lol. He did an insane job with Mac on his rookie season as they even made the playoffs .

 

Unless you are saying Mac Jones made the OC..

You are correct Mac did perform well under McDaniels and so far the Maye performance is good.  Maybe like Norv Turner and Jim Schwartz some guys are just meant to be coordinators and not HCs.

Exactly he also made cam Newton look like a half decent QB in the Covid year.. he’s a great OC but a terrible HC.

You can be a great coordinator but a crap head coach. (McDaniels, spagnulo etc)

If you watch other teams consistently which I'm sure you do, you would say with 100 percent certainty that the bills did not have the 11th best defence last year. It was more bottom 12 with turnovers saving them from being bottom 5

 

Yes, points.  Why should one "please" not tell you points per game given up?  Points, after all, win games?  
Yes, the Bills had an opportunistic defense that forced a lot of turnovers.  They led the league in % of opponent drives ending in an offensive TO.

 

If you want to make some argument for the Bills being "bottom 12 defense", please proceed but make it more than "because that's what they looked like to my lil' 'ol Mark IV eyeballs" if you please.

 

"Except for turnovers the defense was bottom 5" kind of sounds a bit like "except for THAT, Mrs Lincoln, how did you like the play?"

I bit the bullet on Tuesday and watched every long run the Saints had. The common denominator was the DTs getting pushed wide. Then once the RB or QB got to the second level, there was a missed solo tackle.

Should be an interesting matchup then the Bills can’t stop the run and our RB can’t seem to hold onto the football.. 😂
