If Mahomes could hit those deep passes more consistently they'd be legit unstoppable. The scary thing is we know he can hit those.

Agreed. There are a lot of defensive gurus that need a very specific personnel to have success. I think he fits that Bill. Same probably with McD.

Would be pretty interesting if the giants want to give him a shot at HC since he spent some time there as a coordinator.  They’ve quietly built up a good amount of defensive talent.

I know he CAN pass the ball but his absolute effectiveness is predicated through the run game. 

 

Lamar has become a great passer though. But just like the Bills do in big games, start overthinking themselves & calling questionable plays.

Yeah, he is quality. I’ve never knocked him or believed he can’t. He is just a better passer, like most, when there’s a run game. Having him be the absolute focal point to pass the ball is a detriment to the team you built.

I don’t think he’s great at throwing with anticipation still but he’s def come a long way. Feels like he doesn’t trust his reads and dances around til guys are very open a little too often 

 

great player overall though I just don’t know if they’ll get over that hump with him.

Hes very clearly not a passer on the level of Allen, Mahomes and Burrow. 
 

Great QB, just sick of being gaslit by so many people that we have to pretend he’s something he’s not.

Well yeah our personnel decisions on defense are driven by our head coach's philosophy.

 

I don't know how you can watch KC in this game compared to our defense in week 1 and not feel some kind of way about the coaching.

Yeah, that will be annoying, but it's not as insufferable as my Twitter feed being flooded with Ravens fans spam posting lowlight videos of Josh Allen next to "Lamar MVP!" clips for the next week.
