The Saints never led in the entire game. Let's not forget that part regardless of what it looked like. 30 is not a remarkable feat. Basically every winning team that’s not the giants was at worst within one scoring drive of it 2 1 4 Quote

Wins Matter. I like winning much more than losing I may be one of the most positive thinking posters on this board. our team is not playing perfect football. Just winning football I'm celebrating that. I acknowledge the flaws though. Did anyone think at any point …Thd Bills would lose? Quote

What's next? 23 points is almost as good as 30? Any other team do it 14 of their last 15 games? Edited Sunday at 11:35 PM by Big Turk 5 Quote

bearstobills Posted Sunday at 11:40 PM Posted Sunday at 11:40 PM For all the Debbie Downers out there who are all in on doom and gloom. Feel free to watch this. https://www.buffalobills.com/video/sean-mcdermott-s-victory-speech-after-the-bills-beat-the-saints-in-week-4 Sorry they didn't win according to your specifications. If only you could have delivered the post game speech, then they would know that they just aren't good enough to win when it counts. p.s. Championships aren't won on week 4 vs. the Saints. p.p.s. Enjoy the ride! (just give it a try) 1 1 5 Quote

Not with Babich and McDermy. So when the season ends, we will be discussing the non-super bowl level defense. Everyone, and I mean everyone, sees the defense as an issue. Except for McDermy and Babich. Would love to hear someone say to McDermy in a post game that it appears the defense has some serious concerns. I'm sure McDermy will respond with "we'll watch the film". How much Fn film do you need to watch? Our defense looks NOTHING like the Chiefs or Ravens when it’s healthy. But I’m not sure how much of it is talent or the coaches. McD brought a lot of new cooks into the kitchen to revamp that D this season. Bishop picking off……Chris Olave was a great read. But after him we just look SLOW. Guys are open all over the field. And the pass rush is still meh. I’ll say this tho the Saints Oline is pretty good. 1 1 1 Quote

harryS Posted Sunday at 11:46 PM Posted Sunday at 11:46 PM I support the "4-0 is all that matters" type takes because we've literally done it the other way before. There were at least two seasons recently where we had a dominant September (but were only 3-1 instead of 4-0 after four games) and statistically, we looked like the best team ever according to EPA / play or something like that. (There were threads on here that shouldn't be tough to find). But, as we should know by now, dominating September doesn't matter and didn't matter in those seasons. By the time the playoffs came around, we didn't play that well. For this season, I want to see us healthy and playing our best ball in January, after having rested because of the playoff bye / 1 seed. All that matters at this point is that we're 4-0 and in pole position for the bye / 1-seed. 1 1 1 Quote

The issue on the playoffs is we have shown all of our tricks and our defense gets beat despite being dominant all year. This defense will get better and we will learn a lot about them when we see KC again. Also we have won the past 3 games by at least 10 points so it is not a dab defense simply not dominant 1 Quote

The physicality we have on offense we lack that on defense. Rapp and Dorian can bring it but they’re average players. The D line is really figuring it out mixing in the young guys. But we still don’t have THAT DUDE up front in the middle to get to the QB and disrupt the run. Really really need Sanders to come on in the second half. Edited Sunday at 11:49 PM by Big Blitz 1 Quote
