pennstate10 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 saw an article saying Allen would be fined for this. Im not sure. Maybe he was simulating gunfire, and maybe he was pointing to a guy and signalling he would be ejected. As I recall the entire play, Allen first points to his head while in the ground. So maybe he’s just pointing things out to help the refs. Quote
Augie Posted September 22 Posted September 22 If he gets fined for that, it’s just one more reason for my interest in the NFL to continue to lessen. 7 4 10 1 2 Quote

Buffalo Ballin Posted September 22 Posted September 22 They can't fine him for this. It's NOT obvious that he's making a gun gesture. If he was standing there, firing off imaginary gun trigger, blowing his finger, and putting it back in his imaginary holster then doing a 360 spinarooni dance, yeah, that's obvious. The hell? NFL will do anything to get money. Quote
quincy Posted September 22 Posted September 22 To me at least that isn't "clear or obvious". 1 2 1 Quote
HomeskillitMoorman Posted September 22 Posted September 22 I don't know why the NFL keeps going down this super unpopular road of cracking down on taunting and celebrations. Literally nobody is asking for this. 1 Quote
iccrewman112 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 He appeared to do the finger gun multiple times this game, so I don’t think it was him calling for an ejection. Quote

MJS Posted September 22 Posted September 22 If so, whatever. I'm sure he'll survive the financial loss. It would be pretty lame, though. Quote
Don Otreply Posted September 22 Posted September 22 The NFL, like so many aspects of our society have taken being PC to extremes, can’t swing a cat without hitting/ offending someone nowadays… Quote
