Disagree.  You can't ignore the 3 TD passes or the 25 yards in rushing that came at critical moments. Not counting the kneel down at the end of the half, the Bills scored (or should have with a missed 39 yard FG) on 6 of 8 possessions.

IMO the Bills may have the best and most balanced O in football as it seems even better then it was last season and it was top 3 then.  The problem with the Bills is NOT the passing game it remains the same as last season - their defense struggles to get off the field at key moments in the game and it allows to many 3rd & long to be converted.

The bills offence went 3 punts in a row against the worst defence statistically in the league in the 2nd half. So while yes the defence can't get off the field, Those 3 punts in a row has nothing to do with the defence

I think Coleman will keep getting better. The back shoulder he dropped is a play he will hit more consistently in the second half of the season. But he is not going to suddenly become a pure separator outside. Palmer is the guy we paid to play that role and he was invisible tonight against a horrid group of CBs.

Just like last year it is going to be up to Cook breaking one or Allen improvising to create explosive plays. Otherwise it is going to be 10 play drives of perfect execution to get into the endzone. We've shown that formula can work, but there were a few times tonight we really NEEDED someone to make a play and nobody could until Zach Sieler made it for us.

Joe Brady is going to be the most sought after coaching candidate in the league in January.

It would be smart to enjoy him while he is here.

So was daboll lol

It doesn't mean anything other than they happened to be in Allen's orbit

Controlled the ball, Cook also had 100 yards,

it’s not gaudy, but it wins games.  I’d rather win a game with a Brady esque game manager controlling tempo and play over a Joe Burrow 400 yard loss

Bingo.  If you sat down with McD over a beer and he was totally honest he would tell you that everything went according to plan tonight with the exception that the D allowed to many 3rd & long conversions.   What we're seeing is by design and it started last season and so far the Bills are 16 - 4 in the regular season and 2 - 1 in the playoffs doing things this way.

Are fans of the Buffalo Bills really debating that Josh Allen and the Bills can't successfully throw the football?

We heard the same about Brian Daboll. How's he doing in New York?

Brady is nothing like Daboll.  They seem to be complete opposites.

He left Buffalo didn't he.

Brady has brought in a system (in my opinion) that has lessen Josh's need to be a hero, thus in my mind doing what was needed.

The Bills want to be a run first team with the O-line being dominant and Cook running wild. The way the Jets and Dolphins played our receivers there was plenty of room underneath and Brady was only too   happy to accommodate. Throw in Kincaid becoming a real productive option and I’d say Brady did well. He brought Moore and Shavers into the offense and that makes defenses have to cover too many. Josh had no problem finding the open man. When you think about it we don’t really have a speedy vertical threat, a bunch of talented receivers who get yac.

He made Daniel Jones rich for life and got a loser team to the Playoffs. Then the mismanagement of the roster caught up with them.

I wouldn't say mediocre. It wasn't great in the second half. I felt like Josh checked it down too much. But the first half wr inky had 3 drives tonight and passed the ball just fine. Let's week we focused more on the run game and week 1 against the Ravens the passing game did struggle here and there but picked it up in the 4th quarter. I feel like most people said, we are playing more ball control offense and not slinging it all over the field

You are not going to score on every possession.  Even if the Finns hadn't roughed the punter the Bills would have or should have scored on 5/8 possession which is still good.  The problem is that the Bills O should be getting at least 10 total possessions a game and it is on the D that they didn't tonight.

But yea, I agree that they got a little cute sticking to their offensive game plan when Miami injuries in the secondary should have been exploited.  Still I so no issues with the passing game and am fully confident that when needed it can explode on call.

That is not what you do when you have the best QB in football.

The season is a marathon, not a sprint. They’re managing Josh’s exposure somewhat too. Didn’t need to take unnecessary risks vs this opponent.

Fair. We will see. It's a bit concerning to me similar to last year.

But time will tell and I hope you're right

When it bogs down that much, I do have to think Josh is leaving some plays out there. The All-22 will tell the truth.

Looked to me in the stadium like nobody was open.  My beef tonight was going way too slow in the second half.  I would have gone tempo a bit simply to break the malaise.  Also maybe throw the ball on first down a little more frequently.

Bills gameplan each week:

defer ball to second half

get cook going early

Leverage TEs early

score on either first or second drive

score again towards end of half

double up coming out of half

defense needs one turnover

Adjust in 4th as needed

something I don’t think people are catching, the bills have been at or above 25 points in every game with 7 minutes left in the 4th.  That’s remarkable consistency through 3 games.  No doubt the plan is to score 30 or more, and allow 20 or less.  Bills have the talent and coaching to execute on that most weeks

It happens. You aren't gonna be perfect every time

IIRC correctly Moore played ~50% of his snaps in Cleveland lined up out wide. Maybe if they give him some of Colemans and/or Palmers snaps his speed could help open things up.
