Need the secondary to heal up.  Miami was not going to roll over but they somehow held Hill and Waddle to 10 catches out of 16 throws for 88 yards.  Strange game but take the win and move on.

Was this the worst possible outcome for Miami? They lose to go 0-3 but it wasn't so egregiously bad that you can move on from McDaniel. If anything this game showed his mettle as a coach, rallying his players to play tough against the division Goliath when the rest of the world was declaring them dead.

If anything this game is a referendum on Tua. For the 2nd week in a row he threw a horrid INT on their potential game winning drive.

G-d, I hope so.    please keep McDaniel.  The entertainment factor alone...

Missed the GDT tonight and that was probably a good thing - I was in DC for work and my son, who lives here, and I went to the Light Horse Inn in Alexandria to watch.  Nice place with WNY food and Labatts.  Good to watch with my people.

Never really thought we were in trouble although that was certainly the kind of game we used to lose.

Walker was projected to be a possible first round pick until he had the back injury season.  I think it's clear that we got an incredible value there and he's got a lot of potential.  We might be looking back at this draft and calling it a home run in a year or two.

I know. He was that perfect boom/bust value for the 4th round and it would be nice to finally hit on one of those

Their will be people here who focus on Sanders (or someone else) being a bust instead of the 5 other good players we drafted elsewhere like Hawes, Walker, Strong etc....

I agree.  We're watching a scripted game plan by the Bills.  Make that 39 yard FG and get off the field late in the 2nd quarter on 3rd & 12 or 3rd & 10 and the O likely gets points before the end of the half. Net, game over after the Bills score at the start of the 3rd.  It didn't go that way but in the end we still won by 10.  The Bills are doubling down on what they did last season.

What is the opposite of complimentary football?

I felt like that was what I watched tonight.

  • Defense needs the offense to put it away and get the Dolphins out of that running offense and they go 3 and out.
  • We need the defense to get a stop and give the offense another chance they give up 8 minute drives and a score.
  • We need a fast start and the Special Teams gives the Dolphins haif the field on the kickoff.

I might be wrong but I don't think that stat is correct.

I think that we didn't lose turnover battle 25 games. Might be wrong.

That would seem more plausible

Actually think you are right -  the tweet and article below must be wrong - found a reddit thread that said there were some games where it was tied (wasn't lost)

This was a solid win.  Remember it was a short week. The team was without Milano and Oliver.  Taron Johnson and Cam Lewis were playing through injuries and Josh was clearly under orders not to do anything stupid.  Run the ball, make smart throws and wear out the undermanned fish.  It worked.  Bad clock management before the half and poor play calling prior to the missed FG made this game closer that it should have been.

Our D has played 2/3 poor games. They will eventually get a talent infusion but be it talent or scheme it’s not championship caliber. By the way didn’t we hire a former ref??? How is he not challenging the non catch by Hill?

Nope, Brady lacks creativity. He’s shown that for almost two years now.

Really? Did the Buffalo Bills lead the NFL in scoring last season?

Some forget that Buffalo was 6-6 with Josh throwing it all over, and meanwhile, Miami was 9-3 and looking to win the division when Joe Brady was hired to replace Ken Dorsey. Yeah, and Buffalo beat Miami 21-14 in that last regular-season game in 2023 to win the division.

I'm actually rooting for Miami to win and stay at least mathematically around playoff picture so they don't just give up the season and trade Hill to the Chiefs

I have to say that I was really impressed with Shaq. He had several nice plays, including that monster hit on Achane.

That as a great hit!

Seemed to me he had a good game. Didn’t know who he was, but saw him in on several plays.

Or fire McDaniel and hire a good coach 😄

One could argue that the Phins outcoached us with a very young banged up OL and DB’s .. it’s a Win but it was ugly.

That s Huge L for Brady today. Maybe his worse game calling so far. He needs to do better.

It really was a bad game play calling wise…Bills go up by a TD and the entire play calling becomes telegraphed runs, quick passes behind the line of scrimmage and more telegraphed running lol
