Steptide Posted September 18 Posted September 18 Can we just trade Samuel? Seriously what's the use at this point

NFL news roundup: Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle to test shoulder ahead of Bills game All of Buffalo's "questionable" players will be active tonight, including Taron Johnson. With Tre white back and seeming to play well and Taron Johnson healthy enough to play, Buffalo might have the strongest CB group that they've had in several years. They get Hairston back soon and Dorian Strong is playing pretty well, so they are suddenly going to have really quality depth. 3

PoundingDog Posted September 18 Posted September 18 (edited) If it aint't broke, don't fix it. I'd not change inactives if the Bills keep winning. That applies to Samuels, Jackson, and Hairston when he comes back. Edited September 18 by PoundingDog

Low Positive Posted September 18 Posted September 18 The spread is currently Buffalo -11.5. This would be a bigger upset than any game in the 2024 season.

Makes little sense to me As has been stated, per his contract would cost the team almost as much to cut him as keep him. The Bills have 5 WR's active, they likely aren't going to go with 6, add to that Samuel doesn't play ST so he's the odd mad out. If they do cut or trade him, what if someone gets hurt? It's not likely the team is going to pick up someone else as good as Samuel, plus then paying two guys. The odds of going through entire year without one of the WR's missing a game or two is likely low, so it's a smart move to keep him. The Bills have a loaded roster, it's why they signed guys like Phillips, Poyer to PS if someone gets hurt, they have experienced players to back fill.
