I even watched the game and while not elite I thought they could game plan to attack our weak spots. Apparently they sleepwalked through the week because just sweet mercy... The Bills are the better team, but I honestly thought the Jets would show more life. They were sloppy and with the difference level of talent the Bills just had to be competent and they were that and more 2 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted September 14 Posted September 14 The way the Dolphins have played defense I honestly expect 40+ on Thursday Quote

I really overestimated the strength of the Steelers D. The game today looked closer on the score board than it was. There were some really untimely penalties on the Jets, especially early in that sunk them, but they couldn’t do anything on O against a banged up D, that’s a bad sign for them and very favorable for the Bills. THIS is how great this Bills version is! not having Oliver play was a big concern. Luckily we showed up and OUT on D fun watch! 2 Quote

I think he’s almost a clone of Robert Smith from the Vikings, just a different, highly effective RB that can do a bit of everything. He’s been really good the last 2 years. Quote

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Really impressed with how the Bills committed to the Run, both sides. Just punched those guys in the mouth all day. Huge 3rd down stops too for our D. 4 1 Quote
VW82 Posted September 15 Posted September 15 (edited) Missed the game. Sounds like it was a stress free win. How come Josh’s stats were so pedestrian? 148 passing yards on 5.9 YPA, only 56% completion percentage, and no TDs. I’m sure he was good cause he’s always good but gaudy stats always help MVP cases. He missed a couple throws (likely just being overcautious vs a bad team) that would have improved the math, but it was basically just a good day to hand the ball off 35 times. 1 1 Quote

I think the score differential ended up about right…if more things went the jets way early the bills wouldn’t have gotten as conservative late 1 Quote
