Charlie Kirk.......some love him, some hate him.

 

Shot in the neck at the Utah campus at a speaking engagement, in critical condition.

I checked out the responses on BlueSky and TikTok and there are thousands of people celebrating his death. I didn't agree with his politics, but at least he was always willing to sit down with anyone and have a civil conversation. I don't want to go overboard and we have no information on the shooter, but it's hard not to feel like we are slipping into some dark times.

I don’t bother anymore….  Like when those kids getting killed into a Church turns into political shouting matches online…I just can’t

The 60s were dark times for that sort of thing.  JFK, RFK, MLK...

 

these are just keyboard warriors voicing their own echo chambers.  I try to ignore that nonsense.
