I did a brief tour around PhinHeaven and Russel Street Report for some schadenfreude. However I always forget how eye bleeding their formatting is. I mean geez I remember the days of free Invision and Proboards and how do you make your forum look worse than that?

Meanwhile TBD is clean looking, easy to navigate and read and has reactions. To thank you to all who keep it going.

My only complaint is massive, humongous, gigantic 800 page merged threads. You can die in there without food...

That's because too many people post instead of read.

It really detracts from any site when the same essential comment is made multiple times by different people.

It should be enough to let others speak for you in those cases where you're not the first to make a point... that's what the agree reaction is for... to agree.

If more people exercised this discipline, there'd be a lot less litter to wade through.

But yes, thank you to Scott and the team.

I’m sorry, what? I wasn’t paying attention.

I think the problem is people don’t read.

go look at some of the chiefs planet or whatever where you can have unlimited signatures or worse yet the adopt a player and you have large file gifs or images clogging up the screen and data.

What about all you old BBMB refugees? Don’t you miss that old MySpace-like site? 😃

@Royale with Cheese won't let go of BBMB or MySpace. He still calls Tom daily and has him as his #1 friend.

I agree, completely.

Far too often posters offer opinions without having looked through the thread to see if the opinion’s already in play.

A site’s value is diminished when it becomes a series of entries each essentially representing the same point of view expressed by different people.

I try to make sure my words add value and aren’t merely echoes of those written previously by others and I’ll thumb’s up a poster for affirmation.

My grandma taught me that if I didn’t have something new to say, sit silently.

In any event, grateful for Scott and team.

The Vikings board is dark purple text on a black background by default. It's unreadable.

I'm just happy to still have a forum based community in 2025 over the social media based cesspools of facebook and twixter.   This feels more like having discussions with friends and family as opposed to walking into a bus terminal and shouting with a bunch of randoms.

Yes. Whenever I click a link someone posts here to another fan forum for another team, I always regret it. Are there any other good ones out there for other NFL teams, or is this the only one?

The Pats board is also rather painful. Cluttered with garbage.

Yeah, and the formatting of the message board sucks, too.
