iccrewman112 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Seems like these were take a quick read then Josh just buy time and make something happen for the first two attempts, then a low percentage fade on the 3rd. seems like there needs to be better design on these to get guys open right away. On the penalized attempt your allowed to run a pick within 1 yard. lastly not sure why read option with Josh isn’t the go to choice here and then have give him an option to flip it to a TE or WR since the line doesn’t have to go downfield. hoping Joe Brady can go back and find some better options. And by default this helps in goalline situations as well. 1 2 Quote
MikePJ76 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Side note. haven’t seen anyone in the media talking about the Irony of the game coming down to the bills needing a 2 pt conversion and not getting it in their attempt to comeback. it was like role reversal until the bills won the game. 1 1 Quote

If he throws the ball up for a jump ball, I think Coleman has a much better chance at it. 1 Quote
BillsFan130 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Ya what were they 0/2 or 0/3 on the 2 point try? For sure need better scheme design Edited 3 hours ago by BillsFan130 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago has any team EVER won a game when being 0/3 on 2 point tries? I highly doubt it 1 Quote
Process Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Bills need to remove the fade completely from the playbook. Sure Keon will come down with it once in a while, but it's a low percentage play and Josh is not good at throwing it. You have a cyborg at QB, + James Cook. Find a better way to get two yards. 2 Quote

Just run cook off tackle or something. 2) on the second try, it was a playground type of play, which seemed disorganized or broke down. 3) on the third try, it was just a low chance of success throwing a fade like that. And it doesn’t give your QB any options. Quote
Royale with Cheese Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Allen needs to get those fades higher. They were talking about it on Hark Knocks for a segment. As Collinsworth said, that was body height. Keon can't use his height at his advantage if it's thrown it where the shorter defender can easily get his hands on it. Literally throw it 10 feet, Coleman windmill dunks....he gets that ball with ease. Quote
Success Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The play call on the 1st try was weird to me. We only did it because of the penalty, which put the ball on the 1. But choosing to go shotgun & throw it there made that a moot point. They could have done that from the regular spot. 1 Quote
BuffaloRebound Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago We are struggling running it up the gut including with Allen. Run more read option with Josh. That should be unstoppable. 1 2 Quote
ganesh Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Should have tried some stuff with putting Johnson, Cook and Moore on the field. 1 Quote
zow2 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Just don't run a 50/50 pass on two-point conversion attempts. That's just weird. That's a play for maybe 1st and goal from the four or something. My whole thing about 2-pt conversions from the beginning of time is that you should not go for it unless it's necessary later in the 2nd half. What's the point... You need to make a 7 point deficit to 6 points? That's a dumb decision. Unless it's a really windy day and you know XPs are less than 50% chance. 1 Quote
Success Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I thought it was PI on that last one to Coleman, too. Looked like the DB was holding his shoulder pad the whole time. 2 2 Quote

henry jones Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago They just need to get more creative. KC seems to always have something up their sleeve that results in an easy conversion (or maybe it's simply because it's against our "defense"). From 2 yards out, I don't think we have the horses up front to smash it in regularly. Need to find some creative ways to get JA running outside. Fade routes are an extremely low percentage play. 1 1 Quote

The Bills made 2 pointers on it last year (both with Cook and I think Shakir) but the Ravens were ready for it. Quote
Livinginthepast Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Brady's offense desperately needs some misdirection and some trickery. We dont have the Oline for smash mouth "I dare you to stop it" one yard runs and we are 50/50 on tush pushes. Play action reverse naked bootleg (Flutie style vs Jacksonville) might be a good idea.
