He's also not wrong. Never leave. There seems to be one game a generation to remind ppl of this. 67 v the Jets, 81 v. The Pats, 93 v the Oilers, I can't think of a good one since Houston until yesterday though we were on the wrong side for several. You can be mad. You can be negative. You can hate every minute of it. Never ever leave. Never ever turn it off. You miss the best stuff. Here endeth the lesson. 4 Quote
blacklabel Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Hey so, um, you guys 'member when the Bills were down by fifteen at two different times but still came back to win the game? That was awesome. 3 Quote

Dont criticize the folks making $50k/yr, paying to be there, so you can make $60M/yr. The team wasnt anything close to perfect, so dont expect the fans to be perfect either. Lets just all appreciate the win, Josh. I think if this is getting to you, maybe it's because you feel guilty that you gave up on the game...it's not Josh's fault. I gave up on the game too and bitched about it non-stop on the game thread...then we won, and I couldn't be happier lol 1 Quote

Im not doing that Im just saying I personally don't need the reminder. that's it Ive said my piece on this. its not a huge deal. this is a message board. #17 has a point. we don't need any negative drama. This to me is already old news 1 Quote

But to repeat it a couple more times in the post game press conference means he's not just joking. Focus on the team, not the fans. devils advocate maybe to him he is focusing on the team - the team he believes in and is defending from the fans decisions and choice to leave. to him the faith is the faith he has in his team, his team has in itself. circling the wagons. choosing to rather be right there right now vs. in your car. 2 Quote

I do not want to hear anything about our lack of faith from players, not even Josh. Our faith for the last 2+ decades speaks for itself, and for a few minutes I think he forgot that. 2 1 1 Quote

And loving the way our schedule looks the next 6 games! Quote

RiotAct Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I’ll own up to it — my wife and I left right when the Ravens player had what they thought was an interception (that got overturned cause it hit the ground). Maybe with about 10 minutes to go in the 4th? As we exited thru the gates a few minutes later we heard “Brad Robbins on to punt for Buffalo” and our decision - we THOUGHT - was validated 🤣 Quote

To me, it was more how you'd speak to members of your family if they did something that surprised you a bit. 1 Quote

Leaving down two scores in a huge game against a team infamous for late collapses is absolutely shameful and directly impacts the bills lol. it was honestly pretty refreshing seeing a player bring that up. Seemed like it was mostly casuals that left early at least because it still sounded pretty loud it’s just really starting to feel like people are angry we won because it cut in on the doomposting 😂. The on field interview didn't ask him about the fans, he still decided to mention people left early, and we need to "have some faith next time". 1 Quote

I think it was probably something like this... the dude embraced and loves this city and it's fanbase because of this. He is constantly praising how awesome the fans are. They hit some adversity today and it probably hurt him a bit that 2/3rds of the stadium had just up and left because of that adversity. It would be like if you were in a relationship with your wife and you are constantly praising how she is always there for you and how much she loves you, but then one day you lose your job and she just up and leaves you because of it. 1 2 1 Quote

It wasnt 2/3rds of the stadium. It wasnt even half. 1 Quote
