AJ Brown has been an All Pro three consecutive seasons. The Eagles have had arguably the best offensive line the past 3 seasons. Barkley was an MVP candidate last year. DeVonta Smith was a #10 overall pick and has been pretty good as well for a second WR. Is there a better supporting cast for a QB in the league? Did we not all see how Darnold suddenly became a good QB when he went to a team with a strong supporting cast last season? Hurts is a good QB, and a good fit for what the Eagles do, but he isn't in the upper echelon of QBs. 4 Quote
Bangarang Posted Friday at 01:50 AM Posted Friday at 01:50 AM Really good game so far. Dallas looks much better than I anticipated. Quote

They draft great. Edited Friday at 01:53 AM by SoonerBillsFan 3 Quote

He has two number 1 receivers, a top 5 TE, and the best RB in the league out there with him, behind probably the best line in the league. And all he does with that is throw 5-yard passes and scrambles? I think you put a guy like Tua on this team, and looks exactly the same. I respectfully disagree. 6 months ago he was the SB MVP. After Barkley, who do you want to contain? He's a great mix of accuracy, running ability, and size to shake off the rush. I think he's an absolute pain in the ass to play against. He has the innate ability to squeeze out yards. Crazy that he's still underrated. 1 Quote

They draft great for sure but Hurts' cap hit the past 3 seasons have been $6m (rookie), $13m and $21m. So from a cap perspective they haven't really paid their QB yet. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but over the cap says he has a $97m cap hit in 2029. Quote

The Eagles are really aggressive with void years. You can book the room for Howie Roseman's retirement party in January 2030. Edited Friday at 02:01 AM by Low Positive 1 Quote
billsfan714 Posted Friday at 02:03 AM Posted Friday at 02:03 AM I know Im in the minority, but I think Cowboys trading Parsons was good. He sure as crap didnt cause us any problems last we played them. He is weak against the run. 1 Quote

Brand J Posted Friday at 02:13 AM Posted Friday at 02:13 AM 50+ yard FGs are like NBA power forwards and centers regularly hitting 3s now. It’s the norm. Quote

Brand J Posted Friday at 02:17 AM Posted Friday at 02:17 AM I think with all the defensive departures the Eagles had in the offseason, they can no longer hang with Baltimore as “the most talented team in the league.” I know Carter is out, but overall they look very pedestrian. Or is it that the Cowpokes are a top 5 offense? 1 Quote
