holla83 Posted September 1 Posted September 1 I'm in an 8 team league. We drafted yesterday. We do individual defensive players. You start a DL, a LB, and a DB. QB - Baker Mayfield RB - Josh Jacobs RB - Alvin Kamara WR - Justin Jefferson WR - Aman-Ra St. Brown TE - Mark Andrews K - Brandon Aubrey DL - TJ Watt LB - Zaire Franklin DB - Kerby Joseph Bench - Ladd McConkey, DK Metcalf, Tony Pollard, Evan Engram, Dak Prescott, Jonathan Greenard, Robert Spillane, Nick Cross I took Jefferson and St. Brown with my first 2 picks 1 1 Quote
PastaJoe Posted September 2 Posted September 2 12 team league I started in 1991, now my son runs it. Still have 3 original members. The rest are my son’s friends. Pre-internet I had to manually calculate scores based on USA Today box scores. We now use Sleeper. I drafted 9th. .5 PPR. Teams were allowed to keep up to 2 players by giving up the pick 2 rounds higher than they were drafted last year. QB - Joe Burrow RB - Josh Jacobs RB - James Cook W/T - Trey McBride W/T - Jaxon Smith-Njigba 7th rd keeper W/T - Travis Kelce Flex - RB Chuba Hubbard 8th rd keeper D - Denver Bench RB - Kaleb Johnson W/T - Keon Coleman W/T - Pat Freiermuth QB - Brock Purdy RB - Kareem Hunt 1 Quote
Thrivefourfive Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Redraft 12 teamer 1Ppr, that dates back to 1997. I’ve won it three times since 2016, and last year my 10 season playoff run ended. Our league went Chase, Bijan, Barkley, Gibbs, Jefferson (me). I picked JJ over Lamb because Dallas will be a disaster, but I was seriously considering Collins. Went AJ Brown on the way back and then all hell broke loose with Hampton and Harvey as my two RBs. Mahomes Jefferson Brown Hampton Harvey McLaurin Kincaid/Strange kicker Houston Aaron Jones Kendre Miller Zay Flowers Jerome Ford Stevenson Jayden Reed Jayden Higgins Juston Fields Tre Harris 1 Quote
SDS Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Has anyone ever heard of a fantasy football manager receiving an F for a draft grade? I’m just curious if anyone has ever seen this in the wild. Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Just wrapped up My second draft and got a solid D grade from ESPN! is this team really that bad? I went RB heavy and waited late for QB. QB: Love (Lawrence) RB: Henry (Montgomery) RB: J Taylor (Braelin Allen) WR: McClaurin (Jennings) WR: Ridley (Diggs) WR: Kupp Flex: Henderson TE: Loveland (hunter Henry) Def: Jets (GB) K: Gay Quote

I see him being a feature in that IND team. Henry and McClaurin can hit that cliff at any time. Maybe solid. Provides consistent points. Ridley, Diggs, and Kupp are jumping off that cliff right now. hopeful for bounce back, may surprise. Henderson and Loveland are unknowns and unreliable. Love and Lawrence are weekly rotations. Montgomery and Jennings are useful for a bye. Ridley, H Henry, Allen will be FA cut/pickups for the season. In case of injury only. I would agree that its solid D. You're going to need a breakout season from a rookie, or comeback players like Kupp and Diggs to hit. Henry and Taylor will keep you competitive weekly. I see a team that will fight for a playoff spot. Edited September 2 by unbillievable Quote

High risk/reward there. Ford/Stevenson/Jones/Reed/ are hit or miss, hard to predict when to use those guys. solid bye week subs. Higgins/Harris/Miller are just shots in the dark. You like to play the Powerball? You're going to be competitive with those wide receivers alone. This is the type of roster that scares Top teams. You can have one of those guys go nuts and steal a win any given week. Edited September 2 by unbillievable Quote

I wish I had thought of it before I drafted. Need to do it by round 5. Quote

I do think my drafting flaws tend to be either putting too much faith in rookies, or hanging onto fading vets due to name recognition. Quote
eball Posted September 2 Posted September 2 My first of two drafts tonight…this one is a 12-team, full PPR, superflex league with one keeper. I’m drafting 10th, which sucks, but my keeper is Jayden Daniels and he counts as my 2nd round pick (#15) so I’ve got that going for me. Will probably go best WR at #10. Quote
Cray51 Posted September 2 Posted September 2 14 team league, I picked 8th. I loved my first 3 picks, but I think I had a poor middle of the draft: QB: Burrow RB1: McCaffrey WR1: Ridley WR2: Pittman Jr. Flex1: Cook Flex2: Swift TE: Loveland Def: Eagles (Bills backup) K: Reichard Bench: Addison Coleman Goff Hunt Judkins Burden Bills D Tried to load up on RBs and Burrow started a string of 5 straight QBs off the board so really happy I took him when I did. Middle rounds is where I started focusing on WRs, I'm not convinced Ridley and Pittman can do much, although I took Addison late as a stash and play after his suspension. Hopefully Coleman elevates, and I have Judkins as some trade bait if he signs and plays well in the Browns system. Quote

947 Posted September 2 Posted September 2 I'm in a Chicago-based league where I'm the only Bills fan. Bills players don't usually go as high as they would in a Buffalo draft, but were still sniped from me this year. I did get Ray Davis in the 14th. I was able to get Josh Palmer in the 17th round & a couple guys didn't even know he was on the Bills. Quote
jahnyc Posted September 2 Posted September 2 I have my draft tomorrow night and I am picking 4th. Standard scoring (no PPR). I will draft a RB in the first round. If the choice is between Henry and Jacobs, who would you pick? A little worried that Henry will not be in for 3rd down passing plays and may lose some carries in general to other backs for the Ravens. If Gibbs is available, I would pick him before Henry and Jacobs. If Bijan Robinson is available, I would think about taking him (I know that he is generally ranked higher than Gibbs, Henry and Jacobs), but the Falcons' offense scares me a bit with a second year QB. zow2 Posted September 2 Posted September 2 I'm in four leagues but for the one I really care about I'll list the week 1 roster below. In this 10 player (PPR) league, QB's are very important as they rack up a lot of points. Allen and Lamar went by the 2nd round. QB - Joe Burrow RB- Jahmyr Gibbs RB- TreVeyon Henderson WR- Ladd McConkey WR- Terry McLaurin TE- Tyler Warren Flex- Jameson Williams Flex- Austin Ekeler DST- Vikings K- Cam Little Bench Chris Olave- WR Keon Coleman- WR Trey Benson- RB Braelon Allen- RB Rashod Bateman- WR Tua Tagovailoa- QB Quote
