No emoji from me. It's your opinion & I respect your post. Levy was a great guy too, but couldn't get over the hump either. It would be so cruel to have 2 great character coaches who can't win the big one. Buffalo is all about character, toughness, etc .. Dang it if they can't get one with such character qualities from the coach, mgmt & players we have. 1

Tre didn’t walk on the leg. Without Tre we need another player. Perhaps for many many weeks to start the season. Something something Rasul Edited August 22 by dayman 1

Josh Allen would prevent that from happening….but once he retires or demands a trade it could get ugly based on what we’ve seen from Terry as the Sabres owner 1

I think this could be one of our strongest D's in awhile. The current worst are the 1981 Baltimore Colts at 33.3ppg. In recent years, even the 0-16 2020 Lions gave up only 32.4ppg and they were historically awful. Another poster trying to deplete Bills Mafia with a surfeit of facts intended to make weak brains explode! B0000000!!!! 1

That's literally horse**** seeing as we went to the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor Sean McDermott has the most top five defenses in NFL history for creating turnovers in his first 16 years as a defensive coordinator or head coach he does a lot with what he has to work with and the difference between us winning and losing a super bowl has been luck recently It takes as much luck as skill to win it.. Tom Brady's helmet catch says hello and wide right says hi the bills 100% have enough talent to beat any team in the NFL it's going to come down to how healthy we are and who gets the bounces 2

Success Posted August 22 Posted August 22 Way too much pessimism on this thread. I don't think it would be like this if it wasn't for the Chicago preseason game. For starters, we have no idea how Tre is. But more importantly - as much as I love the guy - our season didn't & doesn't hinge on his good health. He was likely going to start a few games, but ultimately, he's a depth piece. 5

We also scored 3 points in that playoff game. Serious question, do you think this current roster would make the playoffs playing 17 games with Trubisky or White at QB? Also, if McD is such a great defense coach why is it that his defense is the reason we have lost in the playoffs the last 4 seasons? Edited August 22 by Lionel Hutz 1 1 1 2 2

You just made my point that it takes as much luck as skill .. we got in on luck just as other teams have won in the playoffs with it... The Giants backed in at 9 and 7 got hot and got all the breaks on their way to a super bowl... We haven't had luck since that Bengals 4th down attempt The Chiefs wouldn't make the playoffs with white or trubisky and neither would the eagles You 100% need breaks going your way to win a super bowl throughout the postseason... In a game of inches where the talent margin is razor thin all it takes is a couple of bad breaks You're not going on the road with a more banged up roster, getting bad spots, and the ball's not bouncing your way... You're not going to win it takes as much luck as skill to win a super bowl Edited August 22 by Buffalo716 1
