This really is a big story. The Chiefs will have Rice for the beginning stretch of the season - the most difficult they have (at least on paper).

anyway.  Here is a bears fan perspective

That's funny.  Other media that I have heard from that were there said that outside of a couple big plays, the Bills had a lot more wins overall.  But this dude looks like a fan, so I would expect him to have a Bears bias.

Both Rapp and Bishop have been full participants. But yes, they need to work on their chemistry and communication.

Exactly where was the safety help on the long TD given up by Tre?     Oh yeah… Hamlin was letting Bishop get some first team reps.

Did you see the play? Others are saying it was Rapp who got beat, but in any case both starting safeties were there for practice today.

No I didn’t.   I just gave a snarky reply because people love to hate on Hamlin.

Did he just say the Bears won back to back PRACTICES?

im reading and it sounds like a interception called back and a TD on white. Keon was ballin and yet the Bears COOKED the Bills. Ok. It's practice dude calm down.

How do we have 8 pages when there hasn't been a game played yet? lol

just wait until we get destroyed on Sunday night by the Bears and their starters and new coach wanting to pump up their young players vs. our no-scheme and/or backups. 20 pages minimum!

Really not interested in Damar Hamlin starting for us, but it seems inevitable.

So much potential with the new additions to the DL, healthy Milano/Bernard.. this Front 7 could be a strength.

And then there’s ol’ Damar back there.   Hes not horrible, but man.. not much of a ceiling for the safety room if this is what we’re looking at.

They brought in another more athletic vet with some experience in Forrest and draft Bishop in round 2 last year. They even threw another mid-late round pick at it too. My hope is that we don't see Hamlin much because someone else took the job. But Hamlin isn't tragic either. He's sound, a solid tackler, and knows where to go and be. He is just limited athletically so he doesn't have the best range. He's a guy that doesn't screw up a lot but can be beat by smarter more athletic players. But he also is a quality backup and willing to play special teams so he's tremendous value on his cheap contract I actually don't mind seeing him come back next year on a cheap deal?

Mark Kelso intercepted THIRTY passes in 99 games. Hamlin has 2 in 48.

Kelso was a center fielder who was only asked not to let guys get by him deep — and he benefitted from a tremendous front seven.  Let’s not pretend he was a game changer or anything particularly special.
