Really, Palmer already?

Immediately after he signed that ridiculous contract we could’ve just given Cook to avoid all this drama. I have never wanted to be proven wrong more in my life, but it just doesn’t make sense. 1 receiving TD on the year and a 30 million contract ?  Make it make sense.

True so hate the media.  That's not Damar's fault and it really doesn't make Damar a whipping boy, just a victim of terrible media.

Has it been established if the Damar of today is the 'original' Damar, or the 'replacement' Damar, who was substituted after the demise of the original?  I'll hang up, put my tinfoil hat on, and listen on the radio for the answer. 🙄

8-8, 7-9, 9-7, 6-10

Ryan/Whaley last two years and McDermott/Beane first two

there's really just one person responsible for actually dragging the Bills out of obscurity and he's not in the front office

Was it not the front office that got him here ?

It's either going to be Bishop, Rapp, or Bass.

I think DeWayne Carter could be added to this list because we're trying to make him a NT when that's clearly not what he does best.

And who offered that contract?

Batting .142 with 1 career grand slam and a few triples isn’t an impressive career.

I think it could be Rousseau. He got his pay day but he just doesn't get home. The murmurs started at the end of last year. If he doesn't take a very large step people are going to be upset.

Special mention to Brandon Beane. A lot of whiffs on the defensive side of the ball, hasn't addressed the WR position well and has been publicaly aggressive about defending it, most recently a lot of resources put into the DL that seems to be raising some yellow flags. More often than not you will get worse when you replace Brandon Beane, but people may start to grow tired of the high floor, low ceiling players holding the roster back.

EDIT: These are not my whipping boys. I am saying I could see the boards frustration with these guys possibly growing.

Rousseau never really got home in college or during rookie deal. He is who we drafted.

I don't get why you spend a high pick on a guy to "set the edge".  You need pass rushers 1st

Rousseau was a pretty physical specimen coming out that needed to develop as a pass rusher.

As it stands, he’s third in his draft class in career sacks, and the only two guys ahead of him are Kwity Paye and Micah Parsons.

Jaelyn Phillips was seen as the more complete pass rusher but has not been able to stay healthy at all in Miami.

Ultimately, I have no problem with drafting Rousseau and hoping he can develop.

where I think the issue may eventually lie is paying him as they did and his performance not really changing. They doubled down on him. Maybe it will work and he will continue to improve, or maybe, they gave a B+ player an A- contract that won’t look great in 2 or 3 seasons.

Its not dissimilar to Eddy, but Eddy flashed very hard his contract year or the year just after and showed the vision of his pass rusher ability imo.

I can’t see anyone blaming TreDay for going out and trying his best. Him being our best option at CB2 isn't his fault.

Almost every thread on the first page of the Stadium Wall has multiple people roasting Tre White. It may be misplaced but it’s got more momentum than any other player I’ve seen.

I've been pretty down on Jackson since yesterday. Here's why.

After a very quiet camp we saw in real time why we didn't hear much about him. He played weak. Slow. Couldn't get off blocks, guy escorted upfield and past the QB on rushes easily. Was shoved to the ground a few times. He completely lost contain on Winston's long scramble. All I all a horrible performance on the heels of a disappointingly quiet camp. And even in all that it would be somewhat understandable against a starting level OT. He played against the Giants 2nd and 3rd string RT.

At this point he is far below AJE in my opinion. Most likely a game day inactive. He needs to get stronger and work on his technique. He's very raw.

Does this mean this is who he will always be? Of course not, no. But I think he has a long way to go to even be considered serviceable. I'm rooting for him.

I was reading where Landon has an injury prone history.

Landon Jackson underwent surgery for a neck injury that occurred during a pass-rushing summit in June 2025. This recent surgery follows a troubling history of injuries, including two ACL tears and a broken ankle in high school and college, and a serious neck injury in his final college game in November 2024.

Hopefully not an injury bust and maybe he's still recovering from his neck surgery from last month

The Bills front office like it or not,  is among the best in the league, the myopic view of many here on the stadium wall shines with regularity,

I voted Cole Bishop.  Just seems like the guy that will always be hurt.  Coupled with Brian Thomas Jr solidifying himself as a star, we’ll be reading “I knew Beane should’ve traded up for BTj” all season.  Cole Bishop is the pick we would’ve had to trade to get there.

If Bishop turns out to be a stud, it will soften the blow.  I think he’ll be good….IF he can stay healthy.  Would be nice if Hancock can excel at FS and we can roll with Bishop at SS and Hancock FS possibly as soon as next season.

Back on topic:

Honorable mention-

Landon Jackson- he’ll probably be inactive every week after Hoecht returns.  Possibly IR’d.

Keon-  I think he’ll excel and have an arrow up season but I also think he’ll have his share of drops and missed opportunities that many here will not let slide without excessive bashing.

James Cook-  I don’t think we will sign him prior to the season and nice handful of folks will say “we don’t need him1 ray and Ty are just as good” after every subpar /par game he has.

Beane-  if the pass rush still sucks and our vertical passing game isn’t effective he’ll get ripped, for good reason.

EDIT:  I’ve sadly changed my vote to Tre’davious White.  He’s going to be picked on relentlessly.  I think he’ll have his fair share of nice plays and flashes, but DCs are going to attack him because he’s currently the weakest link on the field.  I really hope that he can raise his level of play where he’s seen as a good CB2, but I’m skeptical still.  He’s my favorite person on the team other than 17, but he’s got his work cut out for him.

Is it though? I’m sure they are in the Top 10 since many teams have front office turnover when they don't win and only half the teams win.
