We all know the Shout song after scores and and white stripes seven nation army around kick offs

should we play Fleetwood Mac bass/ closing in chain when doing stick measurements?

I hope that with the new stadium comes new situational music and attempts are creating new traditions.   Keep the shout song obviously, but I would love to see an overall bigger opening theme based around the Stampede.  Something that really gets the crowd going out the gate.  Not seven army nation, but something maybe more unique to us.

Smells Like Teen Spirit would be a good one..

This got me going in the morning in high school.  I am not a morning person and this would give me a kick start and if I did dumb things the night before I'd wake up with it, literally.

I miss the charging Buffalo stampede video/audio during opening kickoff...used to get me fired up. What happened to that? Would love that instead of the Train Horn on 3rd down

Yeah, and it needs to happen kinda organically. The Mr. Brightside deal now feels pretty forced and a little lame, if I'm being honest.

Yeah, whatever happened to the Flinstones’ chant Let’s Go BUF-A-LO?  That used to get me ready to slam my 12th beer before kickoff.

I know McDermott is campaigning hard for this song and I’m hoping they change it.

Alright

We're scanning the scene in the city tonight
We're looking for you to start up a fight
There's an evil feeling in our brains
But it's nothing new, you know it drives us insane

Running, on our way
Hiding, you will pay
Dying one thousand deaths

Running, on our way
Hiding, you will pay
Dying one thousand deaths
Come on now

Searching, seek and destroy
Searching, seek and destroy (I see ya)
Searching, seek and destroy
Searching, seek and destroy

There is no escape and that's for sure
This is the end, we won't take anymore
Say goodbye to the world you live in
You've always been taking and now you're giving

Running, on our way
Hiding, you will pay
Dying one thousand deaths

Running, on our way
Hiding, you will pay
Dying one thousand deaths

Searching, seek and destroy (come on, everybody)
Searching, seek and destroy
Searching, seek and destroy
Searching, seek and destroy

Let's go, come on

Our brains are on fire with the feeling to kill
And it won't go away until our dreams are fulfilled
There is only one thing on our minds
Don't try running away 'cause you're the one we will find

Running, on our way
Hiding, you will pay
Dying one thousand deaths

Running, on our way
Hiding, you will pay
Dying one thousand deaths

Searching, seek and destroy

I've promoted AC/DCs opening to Thunderstruck on here before.  The famous guitar riff starts..  The crowd begins with ahhahhh ah ah ahhh ahh repeating until the Thunder chants.  Each Thunder is met with the Buffalos snorting smoke while the big screen shows stampeding Buffalos.  It would jazz up the crowd and get everyone into it.  It's too perfect..

Are you reading this Bills PR department...  Make it so...

Another candidate for McDermott to suggest...

Barenaked Ladies has a chorus of one song that could be appropriate, but it's not really a "sports arena" sounding song...

Get back, get back up
You gotta get back, get back up
You got a whole stadium on their feet
It's not about a victory or a defeat
See you gotta get back, get back up
You gotta get back, get back up

As long as they not only KEEP the train whistle...but make it 10x's louder.

Long live the train horn. I think it's fun and hilarious.

I'm sure the train whistle is cool if you are in the stadium, and it hopefully messes with the other team when they play it, but when watching the game on TV, its just plain useless and annoying.

A lot of guys in this thread have not learned from the Super Bowl halftime threads - we are old, and rock songs from 40 years ago aren’t what the players or next generation are seeking
