If you’re referring to the NFL Network crew I’m going to assume that was probably their best effort. They’re typically terrible. 😂

I expect holding calls to be a challenge but that intentional grounding call against Winston was just terrible. We were sitting right in line with the throw and the receiver broke inside instead of outside right when Winston released the throw to the end zone.

Well, Josh go one called against him when Gabe Davis ran the wrong route in Cincinnati a few years ago that was just as bad and that was midseason.

Yep. Like I said it's difficult to know how much stock to put into all the completions against White. But it was apparent. I really hope Rapp and Bishop stay healthy this nyear (seems unlikely) so we can see what we have in White (and then Hairston).

Tasker made a few errors but filled in the dead air with a deep knowledge of Bills history and current team insight.  I enjoyed his input.  Maddie Glab had a serious session of questions with Tre White that were smart and not softballs.  Good showing on NFLN.

Right in front of Buffalo Harbor in 38-42 feet of water with a firetiger stickbait run off a green dipsy diver. They love that thing. Its pretty much all Ive been using this summer.

I only look at individuals during pre season. I don’t care about the score.

 

1) James is getting paid

2) Walker is the real deal and will get significant playing time this season

3) Tre White was making business decisions out there

4) Tauron Johnson was not (dumb)

5) Shavers made the team

6) Jackson is a project, I’m glad he made that stupid Offside in the pre season

7) Sanders had some plays, showed some potential

8-Bosa is a beast still if he can stay healthy

9) I love the way Frank Gore Jr runs the football

10) Davidson didn’t help himself

11) Buffalo Joe is backup MLB. He’s everything McD loves in an undersized LB

12) Mitch / White doesn’t matter. If Josh is out for any length of time we are done

13) Ty Johnson with the 3rd team outplayed Davis with the 1st

14) Damar Hamlin is horrible, he’s slower than last year if thats even possible. He should not be on the team

Tasker is fine. I don't get why so many complain about him. They are probably the same ones who complain about any media or podcast or radio show that is at all positive about the Bills.

Especially with rookies you're hoping that one or two of them meet or exceed expectations. It looks like that burden is going to fall on Sanders and Walker.

Average at best physically, way better than average as far as understanding the position. As the son of an eventual HOFer, it's not surprising.

Thank you... it took 55 pages. Yes, it's just as likely that they were avoiding Benford than they were picking on Tre.

there’s also the reality that no one wants to watch backups get flagged mercilessly in a meaningless exhibition so some of those “every play has a hold” judgement calls go towards letting the clock run with a lot of crews

Agree with every single one of these except the last one.  For the first time maybe ever I liked Hamlin’s game.

avoiding very good vs picking on mediocre is kind of a distinction without much difference. I guess if benford went down tre would see a couple less maybe?
