If we cut the whole roster to make room. We could probably get it done

Diggs was traded for 2 first rd picks.  Parson right now is better player than Diggs was in Minnesota.  Why wouldnt Beane trade 2 first and more for a better player.

2? We traded for him in 2020. We only gave up our first round pick in 2020. We never gave up another first rounder

I miss remembered.  1 first.  Still would do multiple for Parson.  Possible DPOY, superbowl MVP caliber player.

It wasn't 2 firsts, but the rest of the package (a 5th, 6th, and next year's 4th) made it equivalent to a late 3rd rounder. So a essentially a first and third for Diggs. I'd bump the third up to a first for Parsons all day every day. From there sending out a couple JAGs to make the salary work is a no brainier. I'm totally with you here.

Too bad he's not a compression style DEnd with a 6 sack ceiling, so not a fit anyway 😭

He isnt getting traded.   This is 100% about the agent being pissed Jerry went right to Parsons, and Jerry being pissed he isnt getting his way.

The contract will be done before the 1st game.

To be fair, the agent should be pissed Jerry didn’t go right to him-that’s a shady move on his part

He gave up 2 1st for Diggs.  Parsons is a tier or 2 higher than Diggs. Parson has been All Pro.  Might be the most physically gifted player on defense in the NFL.  6-3 250 plus runs 4.3.

Here we go with this argument again LOL an all time low around here hahahaha

He gave up a 2020 first and the equivalent of a 2021 third with the remainder. So not that far off spiritually 🤣

That being the case, a 2026 first and a 2027 first plus players for salary filler seems like fair value considering Parsons at time of trade is definitely more valuable than Diggs at time of trade.

I couldn't care less and I despise the Cowgirls but by accounts, he was doing this for most of the game.

To me, this is conduct detrimental to the team and all that implies as far as his contract is concerned.

Micah had better be careful about how he acts out.

He needs to be careful …Dallas might end up cutting him ..

The point I was making is if Micah provides the club with grounds that prove "conduct detrimental to the team" they can fine or suspend him. It's unlikely but possible.

Regardless, Micah has zero leverage at this point. He'll be fined one game check (not negotiable) for not playing in games... and he could lose a year of service if he doesn't play in at least 6 regular season games.

At this point he's better off not acting out like a child... whatever he ultimately chooses to do.

If he were to take the high road at every juncture, more people would be sympathetic to him and he would incrementally gain leverage. If he acts like a baby, the reverse happens. In the current situation it would serve him best to be winning in the court of public opinion.

He was reputed to be a jackass pre-draft and jackasses rarely change.  Trading a bunch of picks for an overrated me me me jackass is the stuff of fools.

He may be a jackass, but he’s not overrated. He is elite in every metric.

No. He’s overrated.  I’m not saying he’s terrible but he’s not the Bruce Smith everyone on this board is ridiculously making him out to be.  Not even close.  He’s a shiny object like all Cowboys, Dodgers, Yankees, etc. tend to be.  Overhyped by 50% just because of the team he is on.  When we played Dalllas we targeted his shortcomings and the game was over by mid second quarter.

I mean, the only other player to record 12 or more sacks his first four years is Reggie White. I get that he’s a bit shiny, being a Cowboy. A bit prone to the hype machine. But from a pass rushing production standpoint the start of his career is in Canton trajectory.
