He would be our best defensive tackle if we signed him so we won't.

Oh please. Do you really want a head case like that on the team?

There were times when he would dominate and I would wish he was on our side. But all the recent news has been radically weird. .. That said, I would hate to see him playing for a rival. Soooo …. I would be ok with Bills taking a very guarded look. If he comes off as wacko as we’re hearing, take him out behind the barn n pop him behind the ear. lol I mean, can his ass quick.

I've seen a couple sources urging the Bills to sign Wilkins as a replacement for DeWayne Carter, out for the season with an Achilles tear.  Wilkins is famous for being accused of dirty play on the field, including grabbing Josh Allen in inappropriate places at the bottom of the pile.  He's also been accused of disruptive locker room behavior.  On the flipside, he does have some talent.  So, he's the antithesis of a process guy, but could actually provide a talent upgrade over the guy he would replace.  Would you sign him?  I have my doubts that the Bills would.

Depends on the money. If hes in a tight spot, a one year prove it deal coulda make a ton of sense.... but depends on the amount and his willingness to take it

It's hilarious to me when we lose like the last person on the depth chart who might not even dress on Sunday's and OP is like "replace them with a Superstar!".

It's Dewayne friggin' Carter. They'll bring up someone from the Practice Squad and replace that person on the Practice Squad with someone else

Wilkins isn't gonna be a Backup. They aren't going to sit Oliver. And why would we want to give less reps to T.J. Sanders and Deone Walker?

And that's not even taking into account the culture fit. It's just a "No" anyway you look at it

The culture fit thing is way blown out of proportion imo.  If you have a good culture one odd ball shouldn't ruin anything.   We're talking about a great player.   If you can bring him on cheap you should do it.  I doubt it's an option though.

The “occasional nut tap is warranted in the right situation”?!?! 😲🤔

Call me old fashioned, but I don’t think I would wanna be hanging around dudes that enjoy engaging in “nut tapping”. 🤣🤣🤣

Is it? Bc the friggin' Raiders felt it was worth eating the amount of money they spent on him in 2024 and get caught up in an NFLPA battle over the voided guarantees just to get him out of the building. And since then, not a single team in the league has so much as given him a visit.

What we've seen on the field and what we've *heard* from the Locker Room is enough to be wary of Wilkins in the building. But i'd be willing to practically guarantee that there's been things said or done beyond just what we've seen and heard that have precipitated him becoming persona non grata around the league.

So it could be to the point your saying, sure.  But it could also be a coach just getting on his feet with a new team (that has been bad forever) that can afford no shenanigans.   I just hate missing out on talent for the culture reason.  But yeah, if there's more to the story,  then pass for sure.
