Jackson Hawes has a great opportunity to earn playing time at TE

I'm already writing Kincaid off.  I hope he proves me wrong

I havent written him off, but he isn't trending in the right direction.  He was billed as being "The Target" in our offense and hasn't come close

Joe Marino's updates:

So far it looks like the guys we are reliant on the number one/starter positions are doing well for themselves. Nice to see.

How did Palmer do today?

Noted and promoted.

Moving forward, this 66 year season ticket holder is done after this season. Can't imagine there's more than 100 of us left.  Dad got them in Bills inaugural year 1960 and passed away in '63. Mom kept them going til my bro and I were old enough to take over. Havent missed a season but PSL's aren't a good investment approaching 70. My buddies and I were Bills Mafia in the 70s and 80s traveling around the country to many road games. Now it's getting to be time to pass the torch and watch at home on the 75"hdtv with cheap beer and food, a warm house, and my own rest room.

Go Bills

Congratulations and thank you for building the base fan culture for the rest of us to enjoy. Salute!

Petty.

Not taking an English grammar and spelling test.

It's not petty, it's interesting and clever. This board could use more of both qualities--and less carping.

I appreciate the backing! I would have agreed with you if it was just grammar correcting and they didn't provide the clever association in their reply that they did :)

I thought it was fun and well presented. No foul whatsoever.

And this is our playground of words and such folly.

I think you should have used a comma after us. Your choice though :-)

The phrases "breaking in a new holder" plus "pelvic soreness" is painting a rather unsettling picture.🤔

But how did he fare, or is it fair ???

Not so sure about that.

Faired should be used when you want the past tense of “fair” or talking about something joining together or smoothing out. Fared should be used when talking about how someone did with something, traveling, or something has happened with somebody. “Fared” is the most common of the two phrases to use.

I like this discussion 😋

This is just more reason for why I'm all in on just bolstering the offense.

The end result is always the same come playoff time. It's still McDermott's unit, everyone always gets hurt, and they give up 30+ ppg regardless of who we have back there.

Even when we sign a ton of players in FA & spend most of our draft on the defense, they somehow end up in the same spot in January.

Obviously, McDermott's coaching methods & scheme isn't injuring our players, I'm just not confident he knows how to identify key players that will change our fortunes, and injuries aren't helping.

WGR is gonna have a field day with this

Exactly! Especially after Beane called those guys out saying it sounded like 2018 again when they [WGR] said they should have drafted Josh Rosen. I’m sure WGR will bring all of that up 😂

For anyone catching up to today's news like I am... this guy Mike Rose reports literally that "full pads are on."

That's not the case. Today was not a fully-padded practice.

The Bills were practicing in "shells" today which means that they're wearing helmets, shoulder pads, and shorts.

It also means that "tackling" is limited to "wrap and release" or "thudding."

Not looking for an argument but Ty Johnson can beat anyone to the edge too.  We literally watched him do it during the season last year.

It's true that Ty Johnson has excellent speed and that he can turn the corner but that said, Cook has a way of continuously getting to the edge and he has that deceptive speed where defenders routinely underestimate how fast he's going.

Cook is arguably the best in the league at getting to the edge and turning the corner.

Shane Conlan looked like this guy lol

Conlan definitely had skinny legs but he could also run like the wind. Besides sharing the same jersey number, he was similar to Milano in that heat-seeking missile sort of way.
