SCBills Posted Tuesday at 01:14 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:14 AM Eagles have like half the Top 100 and the #1 player… who isn’t Jalen Hurts. It’s always fun when people try to sneak him into the Allen, Lamar, Mahomes, Burrow group. 1 Quote

It's laughable to me that fans get so upset and offended anytime anyone lists a single Quarterback above ours. We have someone who is listed as #3 Player in ALL of the NFL across all positions and just won the MVP award. Many list him as the #1 Quarterback in all the NFL. Yet it's always considered some sort of slight when someone prefers a different Quarterback - even if they still list Josh as #2 or #3. How spoiled we've become. Allen has been great in both the regular season and postseason in recent years. Mahomes has been meh, but is lights out against our trash bag playoff defense when it matters. Lamar is typically the most statistically dominant regular season QB but falters in the playoffs. I can’t put the guy who falters in the playoffs over the guy that is great in the regular season and doesnt choke in the postseason. Lamar has had the best roster in the AFC 3 years in a row. And he is part of the reason they haven’t made the Super Bowl. 3 Quote
Ya Digg? Posted Tuesday at 01:37 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:37 AM 10 Eagles made the list?!?! It’s nice being the Super Bowl champs I guess. Perhaps it’s my bitterness, but does Josh Sweat and Cooper DeJean really belong in this list? That being said, I do actually agree with Saquon being #1 1 Quote
Virgil Posted Tuesday at 01:53 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:53 AM How the hell Lamar is over Josh?! I’m sorry, I don’t care about these lists, but cmon…. I would take Josh over Lamar 10 times out of 10. Lamar still hasn’t proven he can show up big in the playoffs or if he has to throw more than 40 times in a game. Quote

Removing the homer hat and being brutally honest, I don't think fans or players of the NFL outside of Bills fans and players make much distinction between Lamar and the Ravens usually going out in Round 1 or Round 2 of the Playoffs and Josh and the Bills more often going out in Round 2 or Round 3. Josh getting a game closer than Lamar more often isn't the own we think it is outside of Western NY. Josh and the Bills not being able to get over the hump is often more of a story than Lamar bc we always get so close and consistently lose to the same team. The narrative nationwide is pretty much the same. Neither man has been able to get to the Super Bowl. Edited Tuesday at 02:16 AM by BillsFanForever19 1 Quote

Lamar absolutely has a playoff issue narrative. Even ESPN goes there when discussing him vs Allen and Mahomes. Quote

And there's absolutely a playoff narrative with Josh and the Bills too. You're just focusing on Lamar and ignoring the constant "they just can't beat the Chiefs" - which is just as loud. I'm simply saying, outside of the Buffalo fanbase, there isn't this grand distinction you think that exists that definitively proves Josh is better and should be above Lamar on every list. If there were, Lamar wouldn't get the accolades he gets over Josh or ever be put above Josh. In the end, neither QB has reached the dance, let alone hoisted a trophy. And that's what it ultimately comes down to that keeps the argument alive. Edited Tuesday at 02:38 AM by BillsFanForever19 Quote
